About this deal

For us anglers; thats a huge benefit. Gas bottles are big, cumbersome things that take up far too much room. I don’t like supporting the Chinese directly but everything comes from there anyway so we don’t have a lot of choice You never had a sportsman turn into a fireball or flare up on you? Yeah, right. Itchy beard. Think you've got a selective memory there mate.

Were you using butane or a (primarily) butane mix? In which case once the temperature gets down to 4 degs C it will struggle. You need either a propane heavy mix, just propane or a liquid fuel stove that runs on petrol(or the better derivatives like Aspen or Coleman fuel) or paraffin. I ran an Optimus Nova on paraffin for years - bullet proof and very cheap to run. This all over the Lakes and Scotland in all weathers at all times of the year. I'm a propane running softee now mind. If you want gas then bulin t4 is brilliant value, this time of the year the old Coleman sports tee can't be beaten 👍👍 Am I missing out by using a Colman or Trangia with a little ngt kettle. As opposed to the recommended bulin etc. I have not paid them much attention. Its probably the only bit of "chavvy" equipment that I own but I love it, and if something isn't broken 🤪🤣🤣🤣 Interesting how you get different experiences of an identical product. Had mine since 2015, not missed a bit (apart from the piezo that I've never used anyway)Those chemical hand warmers are a good way to get the gas canister warmed if it's too cold for them to be behaving nicely. T4 is a great stove the only issue is ridgemonkey pans fall off it very easily so i bought a cheap stove stand from teemu Totally agree with Gerry re 0.7ltr HE Kettle. I prefer a separate kettle as opposed to climbing type kettle/pot combos, can't stand tainting my tea...each to their own.

Apparently their prices do fluctuate but they offer a price match policy.Funny how the prices always seem to rise just before a sale though, some by a good chunk of money. I've got one and its spot on but it's 24 pound not 70 so if it breaks after 60 goes over 3 years il be more than happy. its ironic what crap they make today, as i still have my original old BRIT 1980 camping gas stove that takes the blue canisters, and its been used for donkeys of years still works fine, only prob is the canisters are EXPENSIVE if ya can even find them! Your stove will just need a clean, there's nothing really to break down on them, assuming it's not slowing down just because the gas is too cold to vaporiseIgnore the fact it doesn't say 'Bulin' many companies sell them with their own logo on, like Trakker for example There is no moving parts to fail or go wrong ,you can use Meths,Bioethanol,Gel,or even set it up if you want to run on gas or gravity fed systems.. Had mine a similar time, I took apart to clean once just for something to do. Yes the t4 is mass produced, but it’s the “original” version of it. Without a trakker or whatever other logo and carp tax applied. I was going to suggest replacing the pipe, but they seem to be charging a fortune for spares now, 30 odd quid for a hose it does not really foookin matter as you rightly stated ,i asked if the stoves are the same and what are the correct outputs !! half a kilowatt is quite some difference in a small stove tbh..
