About this deal

During #36: Alias #14-15 (these issues explain who Jessica Jones becomes Daredevil’s co-bodyguard with Luke Cage) During #38: Daredevil: The Target (a single issue of an aborted Daredevil series by Kevin Smith) Frank has yet to figure out that all he needs are panels shaped like screens: no necessity to draw a complete tv set six times in a row. Nonetheless, pretty cool start. Collects Daredevil (1964) #133-143 and Annual 4; Ghost Rider (1973) #20; Marvel Premiere (1972) #39-40; and material from Ghost Rider (1973) #19 After #20 in Elektra (2017) #5, Free Comic Book Day 2017: All-New Guardians Of The Galaxy #1, Defenders (2017) #1-3, Monsters Unleashed! (2017) #2, Jessica Jones (2016) #9, Guardians Of The Galaxy (2015) #16, Unstoppable Wasp (2017) #4-8 (and implied but unseen in #3), Kingpin Vol. 2 (2017) #1. After #21 in Kingpin (2017) #2-3 and Star-Lord (2017) #3-6. After #24 in X-Men: Gold (2017) #6. By 2011 Daredevil had been put through the wringer for a decade with no sign of lighthearted superhero adventures in sight. Comic superstar Mark Waid took over the title with the idea that Daredevil had reached so many unimaginable lows over the past 13 years of comics that the only direction he could go was up.

Just as Frank Miller would later go on to define Batman for a new generation, he did the same for Daredevil a few years earlier. Miller's Daredevil is grim, tormented, flawed and, most of all, human. Could've done wihtout the abhorrent art at times (on GOD, Klaus Janson can't draw female heroes for shit) and the constant patronizing attitude from Matt's (*cough* definitely not a Frank Miller self-insert *cough*) towards most people who seem out of their depth in hard situations, ie that whole catastrophe with Heather Glenn. Collects Daredevil (2015) #1-28, 595-612, & Annual 1; Daredevil/Punisher: Seventh Circle (2016) #1-4; and material from All-New, All-Different Point One (2015) #1Written by Charles Soule and anchored by Daredevil and Misty Knight, this four-issue series could have easily been an arc of Daredevil between #605-606. Collects Hunt for Wolverine (2018) #1 and Hunt for Wolverine: Weapon Lost (2018) #1-4. Also, see Guide to Wolverine – Logan. For the lover of Daredevil/Spidey friendship, you can read Greatest Spider-Man and Daredevil Team-Ups, which covers team-up from 1964 to 1994. Collects Daredevil (2019) #31-36, Daredevil: Woman Without Fear (2022) #1-3, and Elektra (2022) #100.

Peter Parker - The Spectacular Spider-Man #27-28, Daredevil #219, #226-233, The Man Without Fear #1-5, Daredevil: Love And War Gallery hardcovers are taller than Omnibus hardcovers – they’re similar in size to DC Absolute editions. After #15, Daredevil makes a number of appearances throughout the Marvel Universe in the undefined time prior to the start of Brian Bendis’s run on the title. Published 1978 this was Frank Miller's first work with Daredevil who plays a supporting role in this story. This is really just for completionists. Frank Miller had yet to come into his own as an artist, this just looks like pretty standard Marvel house work. Working on this story is what got Miller interesting in the Daredevil character. Collects (1964) #1-41 & Annual 1. Also includes Fantastic Four #73 and material from Not Brand Echh (1967) #4
