About this deal

Dark Elf revolts are probably the strongest of all? Don´t really know, but the fire sorceress I chose needed at least 6 tier 1 units + assassin to deal with the revolts. With the aid of sorcerers and a renegade priest of Vaul he forged a mighty suit of armour to protect his withered and burnt body with the Circlet of Iron mounted on its helm, he then fused the uncanny metal to his own body. He would now become known as the Witch King as he renewed his war against the new Pheonix King, Caledor I but his finest army was defeated in the marshes of Maledor. Finally he attempted to call upon the gods of Chaos for aid which would result in the destruction of much of northern Ulthuan by a vast tidal wave. [4a]

Retreat and charge. Super simple but very good. It gives you a lot of tactical flexibility, lets you keep hitting what you want to be hitting in combat without getting bogged down by something else. That’s it, nothing else, no special battleline or anything. Khailebron Argentine • Behemat • Chimerac • Dracothion • Hydragos • Ignax • Lode-Griffon • Twin-Headed Serpent • Vulcatrix • Vytrix • YmnogMorathi, though she began her life in the Mortal Realms possessing close to the power of one of the Ascended gods, calls herself simply the "High Oracle of Khaine," the old aelven war god and god of murder in the World-That-Was. He rother titles include the "Shadow Queen" and "grand matriarch" of the Daughters of Khaine. She is a creature of magic, manipulation and secrets: a blood-priestess of battle and a mistress of lies and hidden intrigues. She is Morathi, and she would be a god... Then Morathi was found by Malerion, a twisted form of her son Malekith, at the centre of a glade filled with shadow daemons. She was still of flesh and blood, but had changed since he last saw her during the End Times. This reunion was hostile and filled with recriminations and anger and yet even through neither trusted the other, they managed to make an uneasy truce. Together they created a great citadel which become the greatest kingdom of the realm – Druchiroth. Eventually Morathi and her son joined Sigmar's Great Alliance having been aided by the god. Although they contributed to the burgeoning civilisations, they were mistrusted by many others of the Pantheon. [3] [5a] So both the God-King and Morathi muster their forces, assembling a host larger than anything seen since the Realmgate Wars. Determined to achieve their goal, bringing Morathi to Varanthax's Maw and taking the Varanite from the forces of Chaos. Warriors from multiple Khainite temples and Stormhosts marched into the Eightpoints using the Ghyran Arcway, the Genesis Gate. The first assault shmashed trough the chaos fortifications without much resistance. [8a] After Aenarion returned the Sword of Khaine to its altar on the Blighted Isle after the end of the Great Catastrophe, Morathi looked everywhere for him and on numerous occasions, but to no avail. In the alternate, non-canon Storm of Chaos and Total War: Warhammer timelines, Morathi actually led the Cult of Pleasure as an open devotee of the Dark Prince. [2a] [7] As her son assaulted Ulthuan, draining Naggaroth of the majority of the Dark Elf warriors, Morathi was concerned that the hordes of Chaos could sweep down from the north. She had already revived the Cults of Pleasure involving the Dark Convent with them to provide a powerful alliance and now she travelled into the north to further boost the cults and her own power. Aenarion united all the kingdoms of Ulthuan and the entire race of Elves beneath his rule and defended the mortal world from the terrible daemonic hordes that plagued the globe during the Great Catastrophe. She became the second wife of Aenarion after he rescued her from a Slaaneshi warband in the days of the first Chaos invasion before The Sundering. [2a] [3c] In the fires of the Burning Mountain she forged the lance Heartrender in 2304 IC. [3b] Storm of Chaos Morathi, in her (successful) quest to become a god, weakened the bonds holding Slaanesh at bay in Ulgu. A portion of the Dark Prince’s essence was released into the realms in the process. Besides empowering his mortal followers, this soul-stuff formed the twin-form daemon Dexcessa and Synessa .

A solid mix of battle tactics here, many are quite doable. They focus on multiple different units, so you may not be able to do them all with the same list. First, the most general and practical is Clash of Arms which asks you to charge with 3 units, if two of those units are Witch Aelves or Sisters of Slaughter then you get an additional victory point. Most lists are probably going to have the tools to set up a 3 pointer here, even if relying on 3 charges might be a little dicey, that’s what Daughters are about. Tide of Blades is also easy as it is basically Savage Spearhead, but if you do it with two Witch Aelves units you get another victory point, easy. Another Daughters of Khaine book already? Of all the factions to launch it certain is a strange choice, given they got one of the penultimate books to send off second ed. That was just barely over a year ago, by the way. She delivers this prophecy to the new aelven gods, warning that while they might be powerful, that Slaanesh is beyond their comprehension and none of them have the might to fully contain them. Malerion openly disrespects her and Tyrion is indifferent. Only Teclis seeks her wisdom in secret. To prepare for this war Morathi draws ever more Scáthborn from the belly of Slaanesh.
