About this deal

Chekhov's Gun: During his fight with Silver, Infinite drops one of the Phantom Ruby prototypes he was supposed to destroy. The Avatar would later find that same prototype, allowing them to survive Infinite's illusion during their fight with him, and allowing them to ultimately foil Eggman's plan to destroy the Resistance with a virtual sun. Overview: An introduction section summarizing noteworthy facts about the video game, its elements, and mechanics. Seaside Hill. Game Banana. Archived from the original on 21 December 2021. Retrieved on 21 December 2021. Smug Super: Infinite has a bigger ego than Sonic and Shadow combined, and has all the power to justify it now. He was a relatively weak Miles Gloriosus originally.

Hero Killer: Downplayed in that the only people he actually kills are the Avatar's teammates, but he effortlessly defeats other powerful characters such as Sonic, Silver, and Omega. It is erroneously stated that Emerl was found by Tails, while in Sonic Battle, Emerl is found by Sonic and brought to Tails. The description for Final Egg erroneously states Birdie's family members to be his parents, rather than his siblings. Infinite: For you, perhaps. He's beaten you for decades, but I defeated him in our first encounter. Infinite's character bears one perhaps even more noteworthy than the rare possibility of a second Phantom Ruby nullifying his powers: namely, his hopeless addiction to sadism. Infinite isn't interested in pragmatism; his personal agenda is domination, to relish in the fear, suffering, and subjugation of others as much as possible, constantly playing it off as it "not being worth the time" to finish off the enemy. Even after Eggman calls him out on letting Sonic live when he had him cornered, the one person who could absolutely ruin everything, Infinite tries to rationalize it away. Even beyond that, Infinite failed to recognize what he'd inadvertently created when he subjected the Avatar to the same experience that led to him becoming so powerful.

While the other Zones featured in this section shows at least one screenshot from each Act, Lava Reef Zone only displays two screenshots both from Lava Reef Zone Act 1. No images from Lava Reef Zone Act 2 are displayed. Factoid: Small information boxes that provide canonicity information, cut content, localisation differences and other minutia data for different aspects of their respective video games.

Episode Shadow reveals that he was this to Shadow. He was the captain of a mercenary squad and touted himself as the "Ultimate Mercenary" until he was dealt a crushing defeat at the hands of the Ultimate Life Form. The humiliation drove Infinite to seek power so he'll never be weak again. The screenshot used to illustrate the Dream Snowboard Cross event in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games instead uses a screenshot of the regular Snowboard Cross event. Infinite: It's his name. Duh. Fittingly enough, Hoobastank sings the main theme of Sonic Forces, and their name is often stylized as h∞bastank, also containing an Infinite symbol. He also has the infinity symbol decorated on the soles of his boots. Bosses: A list of the bosses that appear in their designated video game. These listings include brief descriptions, factoids, appearances in the different levels, and names for each boss. Many of these lists provide as well English names for bosses that were never given an English name following their video game's release or were never given a name at all.

The section erroneously claims that to access one of the game's Special Stages, the player must reach the end of an Act while holding one hundred Rings. In the game, the player is automatically warped to a Special Stage upon collecting one hundred Rings. However, regardless of how the player leaves the Special Stage, the Act that they entered from will be ended and they will begin the next Act instead. Deal with the Devil: Issue Four: Rise of Infinite reveals exactly who Infinite once was: he was the leader of a band of thieves before Eggman offered him and his band the chance to work for him, having been given a glimpse of Infinite's own secret desires and tempted him with the chance to see them realized. And true to the trope, Infinite finds out too late he was on the losing end when Eggman decides he's screwed up one time too many and shows Infinite he was just a disposable pawn the entire time. The description for the 1 Force March Forcejewel is erroneously also used as the description for the 6 Force March Forcejewel. The description for Twinkle Circuit claims that this Action Stage must be completed before Sonic can access Twinkle Park. In reality, Twinkle Circuit is an optional Action Stage for Sonic. Evil Is Petty: His motivation for wanting to destroy the world and seek power? Because Shadow destroyed his squad, defeated him and called him weak. There's also a part of For the Evulz in that as well due to his sadism.

The section mistakenly says " Players sit insidean arcade cabinet shaped like Sonic's patrol car". It is supposed to say " Players sit inside an arcade cabinet shaped like Sonic's patrol car".

The sprite for the Snake Badnik is erroneously captioned as "Caterkiller" and has several of its segments miscolored and misplaced. BumbleKast for March 23rd, 2022 - Standard Q&A Podcast with Ian Flynn. YouTube. BumbleKing Videos (23 March 2022). Retrieved on 23 March 2022. Infinite: ( To the Avatar) I can taste your terror, child. All that anxiety and doubt... it's delicious. ( Fires an energy blast in front of the Avatar, intentionally missing just to startle them) Give in to your fear. Flee, screaming, and I'll let you live. ( Evil Laugh)

Items. The Spriters Resource. Archived from the original on 22 July 2022. Retrieved on 22 July 2022. The book states " Unique to this outing, all of the bosses are fought on the run." This is untrue, however, as the Super Eggrobo Z remains entirely stationary during its boss fight in the game. Apocalypse How: He nearly pulls off a Class 6 when he tries to erase the resistance by dropping a construct of the sun onto them. Enemies: A list of the enemies that appear in their designated video game. These listings include brief descriptions of their behavior, the locations in the game, and names for each enemy. Many of these lists provide as well English names for enemies that were never given an English name following their video game's release or were never given a name at all.

Psycho for Hire: He's a Sadist who really enjoys his work as Eggman's Dragon. He also really enjoyed being a mercenary and willingly joined Eggman. Deconstructed to a degree, as his sadism is a Fatal Flaw that ultimately bites him and Eggman in the end and causes him to make mistakes that even Eggman realizes were blunders.
