We liked that the JBL Boombox 3 comes equipped with a built-in battery that delivers an incredible 24 hours of playtime on a single charge, and you can even use the speaker as a power bank to charge your smartphone device through USB. Furthermore, the speaker is IP67 dust and waterproof, allowing you to bring this speaker virtually anywhere outdoors or by the poolside and never have to worry about water. If you are looking for one of the loudest Bluetooth speakers that is durable, rugged and portable, the JBL Boombox 3 is definitely the one you should get. The Verdict? The JBL PartyBox 1000 is one of the loudest Bluetooth speakers you can find that is immensely powerful and delivers a tonne of bass. It is currently the loudest JBL speaker – much louder than the JBL Boombox 2 or the PartyBox 300 speaker, and is powerful enough to double as a portable PA sound system. The speaker itself is massive and delivers an incredible 1100 watts of power with plenty of bass and deep lows, making it ideal for EDM and party music. It also comes with a full lighting panel effect which creates a captivating light show and also features a DJ launchpad for playing drums, keyboards and looping your music. Overall, the PartyBox 1000 is a massive and one of the loudest Bluetooth speakers you can find and we highly recommend them for their exceptional sound and volume. #5 Loudest Outdoor Speaker: The Soundboks 3 Bluetooth Speaker The best sound profile is one that caters to your primary use. In party speakers, where primarily dance music is played, low-end is king. Alternatively, a speaker with a brighter presentation is typically better if you’re looking for the most intelligibility, particularly with voices. We were very surprised by how much power this speaker actually has – it comes with 4 built-in 15W full-range speakers with a dedicated subwoofer for deep bass performance – the woofer itself delivers up to 60W of power. This speaker also has a large 5,200mAh battery that can deliver up to 12 hours of playtime on a single charge, and can even double as a USB powerbank for your smartphone and tablet devices. We also liked the environmental EQ mode functionality which allows you to switch between indoors and outdoor modes to optimize the sound performance for louder volume and clarity. The entire speaker has a sleek and portable design that comes with a built-in handle which makes carrying the Blaster 3.0 around easy and convenient especially for outdoor use. Overall, the Monster Blaster 3.0 is hands down one of the loudest Bluetooth speakers that we have tested and highly recommend them for their loud sound performance.It's also an aesthetically pleasing little fella, perhaps even cuter than the 2nd generation model (if you can imagine such a thing). The problem for the Go 3, sadly, is that it's limited by poor battery life and a pretty average sound range, so if you're only planning a trip to the end of your street, you'll be fine. Any further and you might want to consider one of this list's bigger boys instead.
Depending on where you'll be using the speaker – around the house, in the garden, by the pool, camping, on the beach – you'll also be interested in the battery life on offer. The speakers on test range from 10 hours to over 30 hours, all pretty respectable but a considerable range if, say, you're taking one of these to a festival. The sound performance of the JBL Charge 4 leaves nothing to be desired. The highs are crisp and well-defined, and the mids are very good and exceptionally clear for the size of the Charge 4. Vocals sound great in most songs and are well-represented on the high notes without any distortion. We found that you can really push up the volume on the JBL Charge 4 speaker while maintaining all the speaker dynamics under full volume. The bass sounds phenomenal in the Charge 4 and are represented accurately and able to hit lower frequencies accurately. The dual passive bass radiators also help to accentuate the bass with a powerful thump. Soundboks has focused on balancing loudness and portability with this new speaker. Unlike the Soundboks 3, the Go measures only slightly larger than competitors like the Hyperboom or Boombox 2 and weighs a much more manageable 20 pounds. Now, while this is still no lightweight speaker, carrying a Soundboks product in one hand is possible.The JBL PartyBox 300 delivers extremely loud JBL sound performance. The bass on this speakers goes very deep and low, and you can literally feel the floor vibrating with these speakers turned on to max volume levels. When pushed to maximum level levels, this speaker delivers crystal clear sound with virtually zero distortion levels. The highs and crisp and the midranges are superb – as with all JBL speakers – the vocals are also very well-defined. This is definitely the kind of speaker you would want to use as a PA system or as a large speaker for events. The PartyBox 300 can produce way louder volume than the JBL Boombox 2 without any distortion. When we compare a speaker’s output sound or volume to other speakers, we look at the output SPL, meaning the Sound Pressure Level, which is mentioned as a dB rating. This is also sometimes referred to as speaker sensitivity. With such high levels of performance, it's one of the best wireless Bluetooth speakers you can find on the market today at this price.
