About this deal

Top notes of Desire Extreme blend vibrant notes of bergamot, red orange and saffron as an introduction to cypress and clary sage in the heart of the fragrance. The base is masculine, created of leather and combined with patchouli, amber and vetiver. Masculine and elegant Desire Extreme introduces the new version of luxury to the collection of Dunhill. not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under these terms and Overall, I would say that Desire is worth a try. It might not fit every guy’s style but I think it will be appreciated by many and is appealing enough to attract the ladies. Dunhill's Desire Extreme proves that not all luxurious-smelling scents are outrageously priced. It has been turning heads since 2017. Often called toilet water before modern times, eau de toilettes, such as this one, are less concentrated than EdPs and thus offer a briefer "staying time" of between 2-3 hours. Because they are lighter, they are a common choice for office wear. Elaborate Olfactory Pyramid

Being an unconditional of its mother fragrance, it took me a long time to know this version, and it is not because it did not appeal to me, which is not the case, but I believed the comments on it ... In the end, a few months ago, I bought, in a Offer, a bottle of 100ml, and since that day I do not want to stop having it in my collection, like its mother fragrance ... I love it, another wild card undisputed to me. There is a exotic/oriental type of spice which develops after a few minutes of wear. I think it is the combination of vanilla and musk which provides this light spiciness. The leathery character of this scent is intensely masculine. Originally created from real scrap leather scented with burnt birch peel, a leather accord is now primarily birchbark essence free of animal-based products. Bergamot, saffron and blood orange make up the head of this particular EdT. Next heart notes of cypress and clary sage take the lead. The experience ends with a base of vetiver, leather and patchouli. (Vetiver, sometimes called khus, is an Indian grass similar to citronella.) What People Think Of Dunhill Desire?

For this price range, it’s really more than what you get with other comparable fragrances. No real complaints because Desire is still is above average in sillage and longevity. That said, Silver does produce a pleasant skin-scent over time that is reminiscent of cucumber, moisturiser, and even sun cream. Dunhill Desire’s Life-Cycle, Wake & Strength

After about an hour, the fruit notes begin to lose some of their potency and Desire evolves into a more woodsy and oriental type of fragrance. It is still sweet, but you get more of the teak wood and musky base. Along with the rose, I get orange blossom, as an additional floral note. The floral presence is moderate, but definitely not overwhelming. In the opening act, you get apple as the main note, with a grab bag of citrus aromas coming in. Again, pretty unisex, at this point in time.

Presentation and Value For Money

Once into the base, Desire Red continues with its bubblegum sweetness, which persists well into the skin scent. However, it has developed a muskiness brought on by the presence of labdanum and just a dash of agarwood. This is significantly softened by a pinch of vanilla that further contributes to the sweetness. First of all, I want to make it clear that you don't be fooled by "Extreme", because here there is nothing here, it is an aroma with similar characteristics to the original, and I don't mean its aroma, because they don't smell the same, but to its versatility, perfect for all situations.

We’re big fans of the Dunhill Desire flacon. Like with Icon, Desire seeks to capture Dunhill’s motoring accessory heritage by creating a geometric design that’s evocative of a hip flask. As a result, it fits nicely in the palm of the hand and the cap is fixed to the bottle thanks to a hinge. First of all, we’re looking at four very distinct fragrances with their own unique identities. Nevertheless, it’s important to remember that they can be considered affordable fragrances and sometimes that is reflected in the overall experience. The result is very reminiscent of old-school power frags and evokes classics like Aramis and even the original 1934 Dunhill For Men. I don’t don’t find this cologne to be super long-lasting, but it seems to perform rather, well throughout the day. You’ll get around 7 hours, out of it. That seems to be the consistent result, from my testing. Though, I wouldn’t put it at the top of the list of longevity.

Blue, quite literally on the other hand, has revealed its oceanic character with an unapologetic burst of calone. Fortunately, this is curbed slightly thanks to the orange blossom and rosewood, which some substance to the fatty aldehyde aquatic compound. I see the red orange, saffron (a Polo Red staple note), and leather in the base cling to each other synergistically creating a heavy fruity punch, rounded out subtly by the sage and cypress deep within. Patchouli's inherent sweet nature paints the picture of this one having coffee or chocolate, though neither are in the mix. The citrus allows it to venture into the warmer weather, but it won’t perform near it’s peak when it’s blistering outside. Desire by Alfred Dunhill enjoyed plenty of popularity after its release in 1997. That popularity has waned some since then, however, that doesn’t mean that it has suddenly become a bad scent. This is a rather unique cologne for men, which will fill a certain niche in a man’s inventory of scents or become a daily wear for a certain type of guy. In this post, I want to explore my thoughts about Desire, after wearing it around for a few days in the past week and whether or not I would recommend it. these terms and conditions in full.
