About this deal

In 2015, Mazda did experiment with a matte version of this logo, which also included an updated style of wordmark, this time in silver with a thin blue outline. The outline of the letters in the logotype matched the shade of blue of the diamond, creating a cohesive and harmonious look. Mazda also introduced a new wordmark in 1954 which was much simpler and more agile than previous versions. The narrowed uppercase font in a sans-serif type had bold lines in the two “A’s” to help it stand out. Every letter is carefully crafted, reflecting Mazda’s attention to detail. It’s bold, yet not overpowering. Confident, yet not arrogant. Just like Mazda. The Evolution of the Mazda Logo The Constant Element: ChangeShortly after unveiling the 1991-1992 logo, Mazda refined the badge to reduce its similarity to Renault’s. The new design became smaller and featured smoother edges, representing the image of rotary engines, which Mazda was already famous for. 1997 – Present
