About this deal

Café was the Italian café ran by Bella Lasagne. Bella's café was based on the real-life 'Bracchis' run by Welsh Italians. It is still seen in the CGI series but as a coffee shop. In Series 1 - 4, there were two separate horizontally-opening doors, but ever since Series 5 they were replaced with first a single vertically-opening door and then several vertically-opening ones. Pontypandy Railway Station - This is where Station Officer Steele and Chief Fire Officer Boyce were first based when the coal mines were still active, they would use the railway system on Bessie to attend to emergencies in the mountains and mines. Soon as the mines closed, they both promoted to their separate ways with Chief Fire Officer Boyce transferring to Newtown and Station Officer Steele to Pontypandy. Now with lots of visitors to the Mountain Activity Centre& the mines, the station is now in use again, "Just Like the Old Days". Trevor Evans: Ahhh... oh... This is the life. I can't beat relaxing in Pontypandy-- [ Dusty smashes on Trevor's belly and escapes] POOOOO--AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH--AAAARRK!!!!!!! James Jones: Trevor, are you all right? Trevor Evans: [ rubbing his belly] I'm fine. Was it a football? James Jones: No, actually, a flying dog. Trevor Evans: Oh... well jumped by a flying dog landed on my tum before I had my corned beef and piccalilli sandwich. Eh... hang on? A flying dog?

From Series 6, Norman became more troublesome. He has shown interest in becoming a firefighter himself one day, but he also has said he was going to be a shepherd when he grows up as stated in the episode Sheepdog Trials. He has also shown to be interested in science, as seen in the episode Chemistry Set. He is based on Dennis the Menace from The Beano. [1] [9] Sarah and James [ edit ]

Jupiter also had two-tone horns which were only used in Flat Tyre, they are seen on either side of the siren. Bella Lasagne is the absent-minded village café owner, hailing from Italy and has since moved to Newtown, making various visits. Bella appears to be based on the real Welsh Italians who ran cafés known as "Bracchis" in South Wales Valleys. Don Sledgehammer: So - I had a big rewrite down on the movie. Your character; Firefighter Tom, is now the hero. We've had all the Firefighter Sam parts taken out and they changed the title. Flex Dexter: "Firefighter Tom: Blaze and Glory". Don Sledgehammer: Yes. Learn your new lines and we'll see you on set tomorrow, superstar! Flex Dexter: I'd like to accept the award on behalf on firefighters everywhere. And I like to... give Fireman Sam a special thank you, for getting fired! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Pontypandy Veterinary Clinic was introduced in the Series 10 episode, Runaway Horse. It is run by Lizzie Sparkes. As from Season 10 onwards, the Mountain and Ocean Rescue Centres are part of the fire service each with their unique fire service logo.

Penny Morris - Firefighter/Team Leader (Part-time in Series 3 and 4/Full-time since Series 5) (Team Leader since Series 13)In addition, it has two outriggers on the sides of its cab, but we never see its rear platform, extended out along with the snorkel and revealing two more outriggers in some episodes.

The Jump-It Wipeout is a musical jump challenge where you try to beat the rotating soft foam jump bar. The aim is to either jump until the time is up or until you Wipeout! There's also a range of Tom Gates items, including games, puzzles and greeting cards at major retailers.

In a stormy night, Charlie Jones is working in the lighthouse. But the wind causes him and the lighthouse door to blow over, leaving Charlie clinging onto the railings of the Lighthouse. Eventually, Fireman Sam and Elvis Cridlington save him and manage to replace the broken lighthouse light as well. One month later, Sam is given an award by Chief Fire Officer Boyce, who offers him a promotion to head the rapid response service in Newtown. Sam promises to think about it until the end of the day, which is soon interrupted by a call informing them that Mike Flood has fallen off the boathouse roof and into the sea. As Sam is passing by Trevor Evans in his bus, he tells Sam that Trevor is going to take the Pontypandy Pioneers camping in the forest, who warns that the campfires are not allowed due to the very hot temperatures and the forest being too dry. Meanwhile, Dilys Price has invited Derek on a camping trip with the other Pontypandy Pioneers. As they leave, Norman sneaks some sausages into his bag, who refused to eat bugs and berries.
