Perry also shares Doofenshmirtz's complete disgust over Rodney's plot to send the entire Earth into a new Ice Age with his new -inizor that will threaten billions of lives, deeming Rodney as a far more dangerous threat than Doofenshmirtz would've ever been. Knowing that the imminent cataclysm would endanger his host family as well, Perry personally helped Doofenshmirtz, Major Monogram, Carl, and Monty in destroying the -inizor to save the Earth and put Rodney into custody for his crimes. (" Phineas and Ferb Save Summer") Additionally, Perry is rather intelligent to the extent of secretly pretending to act like a regular pet, while quietly performing his roles. This is proven by his ability to operate various types of vehicles. There are also a few Perry the Platypus games which highlight some of his strengths.

Perry has a lair under the Flynn-Fletchers' house which can be entered through various passages. One example is the Chimney Elevator, in which he encounters Santa Claus. During the unveiling of Danville's first water tower, Perry learns that Doofenshmirtz is planning to turn Roger into a repulsive being with his Repulse-inator. Though Perry bests him out on a pillow fight, Doofenshmirtz manages to fire up his -inator, which successfully strikes Roger, who then turns into a zombie version of Doofenshmirtz. This causes an unwanted epidemic in which anyone who gets touched by a Doof zombie becomes one, something which both Doofenshmirtz and Perry didn't expect. (" Night of the Living Pharmacists") Concerning abilities, Perry can perform supernormal activities that are beyond human capabilities. One can easily notice that while playing few of the Perry the Platypus games. For instance, he is strong, fast, accurate, and full of stamina when acting as Agent P. Such traits make him indispensable and fit well in the agent role. The fact that he is a master in Platyjitsu cements this responsibility further.
