About this deal

Since then I have concentrated on my Blog. It is nice to be able to archive everything well and not let things get covered by waves of garbage. Writing articles take lot more than than posting in forums. Many have long periods of gestation and repeated revisions and editing. I hope you enjoy them. Revised 10/6/22: some more design process, including meters, added. Even if you have read it, you may want to re-read. My setup includes a pair of efficient Klipsch Reference RB-75 large bookshelves (97db sensitivity or thereabouts). The A30 is advertised mainly as a desktop amplifier, but I'm using it in my 20 sqm bedroom as a hifi amp. The volume ranges from 0 to 60, and at 25 the A30 already delivers a sound level that more than fills the room ("Zimmerlautstärke") from my TV via Toslink. I expect I have to dial it up quite a bit for my DVDs/BDs. Practical funtions to simplify use: with input selection and indicators, clearly to show the working status in real time; aluminum alloy case is specially designed, cool and unique to decorate your desktop space. Another negative with this amp is when I used a much higher quality external dac (SMSL VMV D1SE- 6 times the cost of the amp), I noticed vocals had a lot of grain.

The IPS display comes in very handy, as it is big enough for you to see the current input from 6 feet and more away. If you dig into the menu, you'll have to move closer to the unit. These sound like a skip, but they are cyclic, and it's a drop of connectivity. I was able to see this occur on 2 different CDP-CX355 units in addition to the 2 different T9 pros. Aesthetically, it has the VU Meter and a dotted meter on the segment display, which both respond to your music. It's a nice added touch, and the glow from both along with the tubes makes the amp look really cool, in my opinion.Once you've mounted the BT antenna, the remaining set-up is easy-peasy. My other devices occupy all the existing connections, RCA analogue (CD Player by Brennan), and Toslink (LG BR Player and Wiim Mini streamer, so I'm using a Toslink splitter).

Regarding driving larger speakers, I couldn't say, the biggest set I have are a pair of Klipsch 620f towers, I don't have anything with a larger than 6.5" woofer, other than my 12" sub in the living room. The T9 did a very competent job, just as it did with my main loudspeakers in the study (see Part I). A: Since power consumption is considered in the design of this machine, Bluetooth does not work when other channels are used. You must switch to Bluetooth input mode to search for pairing. Line (RCA) In I tested this briefly with the Electronic Keyboard on my desk. Sound is good, but quite different than through the Revox system (cabling are different), more like a Bosendorfer to Revox's Steinway. Shall test it more usefully with my CDP in Part II or III (which can also test the Coaxial and Optical Digital Inputs with Red Book CD 16/44.1).

Aiyima T9 - hybrid integrated amplifier

the amp and tubes can get a bit hot after awhile. Nothing too concerning, but if you happen to have very small children I would be cautious. For most people though, it shouldn't be a problem. I assume by nature of being a tube amp, this is fairly normal behavior.
