I do have to mention one small flaw though. The cooking area is a good few inches wider than the charcoal tray on each side. This means that the very edges of the cooking area don’t get as hot. Given that the cooking area is large, this won’t cause a problem most of the time. But, if you’re cooking to capacity, it might be noticeable.Regarding the issue with the lid not closing correctly on uneven ground, we highly recommend placing the BBQ on flat ground for the best performance, if any further issues with alignment occur do get in touch so we can look into this and provide a suitable solution. Customer Service Team are fantastic, we were sent the wrong cover, and the correct one was sent out to us along with a new Igniter wire for the side burner. We have now mastered this and enjoy all the different woods available to enhance the BBQ flavours. After reviewing the images you shared, it can be confirmed that the rust was due to a combination of rain exposure and inadequate maintenance practices.
