Indrejseforbud til endnu en religiøs forkynder". Sameksistens. Archived from the original on 30 December 2019 . Retrieved 30 December 2019. Ngom, Fallou; Kurfi, Mustapha H.; Falola, Toyin (26 September 2020). The Palgrave Handbook of Islam in Africa. Springer Nature. p. 197. ISBN 978-3-030-45759-4. MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II When you feel nothing seems to go your way; you’re facing one trial after another, that’s when you need to cling on to hope! He’ll lift you! Yes, this life is tough. Our tired souls, exhausted minds and deep scars tend to make us forget what He has promised. Don’t quit, press on! If you put your hope in situations or people, you’re likely to be let down. Put your hope in the Almighty. He won’t leave you disappointed. Whether things work out or not, it’s the Almighty’s Will. Keep going. Whatever the outcome, there’s a blessing in it. Keep smiling. HOPE | 44 MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II Don’t bring yesterday’s failures into today. Learn from them. Move on. The Almighty has better things in store. Put your full trust in Him. Don’t be sad when people plot and plan against you. The Almighty is in full control. Remember, His Will is above everyone else’s. People will always talk, no matter what you do. Keep doing what’s right. Have faith; the Almighty knows what’s going on behind the scenes. Worry is the biggest thief. It steals your time, energy and inner peace. Turn your worry into worship. Seek Him. You’ll find your strength! HOPE | 24 Personally, I'm glad to see that the creative storytelling style is becoming popularized - up until now, it was often severely frowned upon as taking too many liberties with the seerah. I hope we see more like this from Muslim authors & publishers inshaAllah!

MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II Nothing in your life happens randomly. The Almighty knows what He is doing to help you return to Him in the best way possible. You have to trust His Plan. He has planned it right to the last detail! Life can be difficult at times. The never ending running around and stress to get things done. Don’t let it make you resent your life. Learn to look at those who have less than you. Those who would trade places with you at the drop of a hat. Thank the Almighty for everything! Be strong. Stay firm in faith. Face whatever the Almighty has decreed head on. Seek His Help and Protection always. Don’t worry about what others say. When you come to the end of your life, you’re not going to answer to people, you’re going to answer to Him alone! HOPE | 27MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II Pray for a heart of ease, calm and hope. Pray that the Almighty protects it from being cold and bitter. Pray that He keeps it firm in faith. When your failure brings you closer to your Creator, that’s NOT failure. That is your success. Thank the Almighty for it. Whatever’s going on in your life right now, never take for granted what the Almighty has done. Remember, all things happen for a reason. Let’s face it, we will never be able to write down every single blessing the Almighty has given us. Start being grateful. Thank Him daily. HOPE | 28 Mufti Ismail ibn Musa Menk (born 27 June 1975) is a Zimbabwean Islamic scholar. He is the Grand Mufti [5] [6] of Zimbabwe's Muslim community, [7] [8] and head of the fatwa department for the Council of Islamic Scholars of Zimbabwe. A good read for anyone who wants to learn about the seerah in an accessible, engaging and easy to imagine in the mind's eye way. He has millions of followers across his social media platforms. His personable style and down to earth approach has made him one of the most sought after scholars of our time. He has endeared himself to people with his much loved lecture series, a Mufti Menk hallmark. Menk undertook his initial studies in Harare with his father, memorizing the Quran and learning Arabic, Urdu, and Hanafi fiqh. He went to St. John's College (Harare) for senior school. He later specialized in Hanbali fiqh at the Islamic University of Madinah.

MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II Whatever it is that you want, ask the Almighty. Your whole life can change with supplication. That’s the most powerful tool you have. Use it. Don’t waste it. It can change your fate. Only He can give you what you want. And you’ll be rewarded just for asking! As much as the Almighty opens doors for us, He also closes them. When that happens, it takes a mature mind to say, “I don’t understand it, but I’m not going to get upset because He knows what’s good for me. I shall accept it. I trust Him fully.” Never forget that the Almighty is on our side. If we take a single step towards Him, He takes many steps towards us! Yes, life is hard and unfortunate things happen to us. Often we don’t know why they happen. But trust Him and know that He wants good for us. HOPE | 35Using captivating storytelling to present an overview of the key events in the life of the Messenger ﷺ , The Simple Seerah is a unique series that makes the biography of the Messenger ﷺ more accessible and easy to understand. Although the series was produced with children in mind, it appeals to a wide audience, including teenagers and those who may not have studied the Seerah before. Today in the 21st century, the message of the Prophet continues to challenge the status quo in societies around the world on issues such as individualism, materialism, and atheism. As followers of the Prophet Muhammad, we should embrace this aspect of our religion, for its very nature is to strike a clear distinction between truth and falsehood, between purity and filth—regardless of what people think.” Renowned Islamic scholar Mufti Menk visits flood-hit areas of Pakistan". This can be disengaging for a younger or non-academic crowd who are often only engaged when information is conveyed in a more compelling, straightforward manner. Most chapters end with a short lesson that reinforces the key message the chapter. This is a useful addition that encourages the reader to be firm in his or her faith and showcases the sacrifices and difficulties that come with being a believer. a b "The 500 Most Influential Muslims 2013–14" (PDF). MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II Don’t keep asking why bad things happen to good people. The Almighty has promised us that we will all be tested. He puts us through tests because He knows when you’re at your lowest that you’re most likely to get closer to Him. Loss is never easy. Loss of a loved one, loss of wealth, loss of a job. All these can break your heart. But don’t let it make you lose hope in the Mercy of the Almighty. Your heart will heal; it will soften. You’ll draw closer to Him. You’ll feel whole again. Don’t live in regret. The past is over. Today is a new day; you are not the same person you were before. Believe that today will be better than yesterday. It’s about looking up with hope and looking forward. Look for new opportunities that the Almighty has planned for you. HOPE | 15 MOTIVATIONAL MOMENTS II No matter what’s happening to you, there’s always hope. You’ve got to believe that. Choose hope over despair. Remember nothing lasts. So cling on to the hope that things will change for the better. And that change will come soon. The truth is no matter how lonely you are, you’re never alone. The Almighty is always near. Very near. He knows what you’re going through. He is aware of everything. So when everyone has abandoned you, seek comfort in Him, knowing that He is always there. Many of us are guilty of overthinking. Remember, the battle starts in your mind. Don’t defeat yourself in your own mind before you’ve even started. Focus your mind in the right direction. Be positive about things. You will see the difference. Retrieved 17 January 2023.A very good introduction to the Seerah. After watching some informative films, series and lectures, I really wanted to get into its reading materials. I wanted to start of with the Sealed Nectar but decided to go with this book as it is a little lighter and can potentially prepare you for the other more renowned works. Not to mention it had the endorsement of Mufti Menk. It is in that regard, that this book did a really great job and is a really good starting point for children. Hence why, owning a physical copy of this book for your household is a must. For that and also the author explicitly has asked to not make PDF copies for distribution, which we as muslims should honour. This is a great way to get younger generations reading something as intricate as the seerah, in a simple, yet engaging manner. Most seerah books are written at a very academic level, so this is a refreshing change, and one that is needed to engage younger generations. The chapters are just the right length to keep the reader engaged. The writing could have possibly been a bit bigger, but this may just be me showing my age!
