jSax The jSax, has been designed for players who are more specifically interested in progressing onto the saxophone. Again, like the DooD, the jSax is a single reed instrument helping to build a players sound production, posture and basic fingerings. The jSax is supplied with a carry case, a fingering chart, and 2 plastic reeds. You can also use cane reeds for a more traditional playing feel. Some soprano saxophone mouthpiece will also fit the jSax, which allows a stepped progression towards saxophone playing. Cornets

These revolutionary instruments are small and light, perfect for shorter arms yet easy to clean allowing the beginner player to immediately get into good hygiene habits. Furthermore, they do all this while maintaining the status of being a ‘real’ instrument. The new updated TooT now also has silicone key flaps with inserts which cover the holes needed for chromatic playing, these inserts can be removed once the student is ready for these notes.

Flute

The standard flute in C comes with a wide variety of options from the silver plated student models to flutes which are precious metal throughout. There is also the option of closed hole which the vast majority of student flutes are, or open hole which is more common in advanced models.

The Nuvo TooT is designed to be a bridge instrument for players taking their first steps towards the flute, though in construction it is most likeable to the fife. The main difference is that the TooT has a larger bore, which means that the instrument is that slightest bit shorter. This means that smaller players will have no problem bringing the instrument closer to the body, and can be played like a flute without the need for a curved head joint.The Nuvo TooT is very similar to a fife, and therefore makes a great choice for students hoping to eventually progress to playing the flute. As well as a traditional “flute-style” lip plate, the TooT is also supplied with a FirstNote lip plate. This helps with sound production in the early stages of playing, whilst the student is learning correct posture and fingering. Available in a range of bright, fun colours. The TooT comes with its own durable carry case, fingering chart and the two interchangeable lip plates. It is also waterproof, being made from plastic and silicone. This means it can be washed in warm water to keep clean, making it a great choice for younger players or a classroom environment!
