About this deal

I used to play an acoustic cover of A Sweater Poorly Knit by Mewithoutyou when I gigged and had their first 2 CD albums But I'll definitely be on the lookout for a lyric breakdown as I never really sung any other than Sweater. I've heard of Chiodos but I never liked them nor their singer to be honest 😅 it's a shame too cause he's also collaborated with The Sounds Of Animals Fighting, one of the craziest act I've ever listened to, but I just can't seem to enjoy his voice. Weird cause I like a lot of high-pitched singers, but usually I either like them a lot or they annoy me 😅 P.S.: I'd really like to know your favorite Omar albums and post-hardcore bands, it's not often I find someone with this kind of tastes to chat with 😄

While William Messner-Loebs story arcs are engaging and often well written -- although a Boston mafia war plot is a bizarre fit for Wonder Woman -- it's the Deodato art that sells the book and is ultimately what led me to try it out. I've heard so much about this era over the years -- some of it positive, much of it negative -- that I finally had to judge it for myself. How do I rate it? Certainly not in the upper echelon of Wonder Woman stories, but it's still a jaunty and exciting yarn. It's solid '90s comics, and overall quite fun. My opinions on the art are more complicated. The adolescent comic book fanboy that still resides somewhere in the darkest nether-regions of my soul would blush at Deodato's art, but still enjoy it. The adult comic book reader I've become finds the overly sexualized style both problematic and tiresome, but also still appreciates Deodato's talent for drawing exciting superhero action adventure. Besides the elements of '90s excess, the art is compelling and energetic. One of several Bolland action covers featuring Wonder Woman battling various aliens and other assorted creatures. This might just be the most divisive Wonder Woman outfit in this list. Some people view this outfit as emblematic of a bad point in Diana’s history, due to this being around the time that she was in a story where she had to relearn all of her powers in somewhat of a reboot. Regardless of your thoughts on that storyline, though, a lot of people really love this outfit — like, to the point that they would call this her best of the bunch. And really, we can’t find too much wrong with it either. There's even a dude on te internet who paraphrases their albums and breaks down all the endless literary references, really deep stuff.

Tilian's a beast. As a singer with a high-pitched voice myself I was in disbelief when I saw the first live video. It took a lot of time but now I can sing some of their tunes quite confidently 😄 Was supposed to be recording a couple weeks ago but my friend who mostly produces pop and electronic tunes really wanted to give some heavier stuff a go but made me buy an input! Haha Also usually use a combo amp so had to buy a distortion pedal. I basically meant how it changed from the 90's, where it was more melodic/emo/punk (Fugazi, The Get Up Kids, At The Drive-In) to the more scream-focused form it took from 2003/2005 onward (Saosin, Dance Gavin Dance, The Fall Of Troy; plus spoken word acts like La Dispute, mewithoutYou and Fear Before); and to the 10's, nowadays a lot of bands incorporate synths everywhere, use that metal-sounding low string notes instead of power chords and tend to be very overproduced. Did you ever listen to Chiodos? They still get a lot of plays from me for how great 'The Bone Palace Ballet' was. Very mixed with a classical sort of sound. Though, songs like "All Nereid's Beware" from their first album are really fun to sing along to.The trade collects Wonder Woman#0, #85, and #90-100, plus Legends of the DC Universe#4-5. That's fifteen issues of prime early '90s eraWonder Womanand all that entails, including a new and absurdly revealing costume and increasingly objectified depictions of the female form over the course of the run. I'll discuss some story elements here, but this won't be a straight review of the plots. Instead I'll focus on Deodato's art. After all, it's his name in the title of the collected edition and it's his art that's most associated with this era of the character. It was a great time to get into DGD, too! What with the instrumentals, the AC remaster and Blood Wolf all releasing in 2019! Oh, and there's another LP coming out this year!

PSD knows that underwear is the foundation of every outfit a woman wears. It’s important for underwear to be comfortable, especially when it comes to women's thong underwear. That's why PSD's premium and affordable thongs are designed and built for athletes, trendsetters, or people who just really love underwear. It's kinda weird coming from me, but often high pitched voices tend to grate me especially on first listen, I didn't even like Tilian at first and now I love how he sounds. Yeah I still get annoyed at some of his whinier vocals, but overall his timber and range are pretty unique. The way he sang in Tides Of Man I find more consistent in that regard. Elephant in the Room was crazy haha Good stuff! Reminded me of some parts of Plini and Sithu Aye as well. Saved it on my Youtube playlist. I haven't heard much Dream Theatre, but Jon Petrucci did something called Guitar Universe 2.0 which basically has him, Rusty Cooley, Tony MacAlpine, Tosin Abasi, Jason Richardson and a host of other good guitarists just jamming together on stage and I've given it a good amount of listens. I actually was gonna mention about Craig's vocals haha Yeah, they're off at times and a bit whiny but if you ever heard anything off "Illuminaudio" when they changed vocalists, it didn't really have the same feel for me, so I just got used to the less good parts of his vocals. I usually sing over him anyway haha Haha I was actually gonna mention Hands Like Houses for the newer sound in my last comment. Also I listen to "Anchor" and "Warrior" by Secret and Whisper quite a lot!clvr I actually only have a realistic MIDI of one of my non acoustic song, but I'll link you as I'm recording it next week. I heard them before it, but I think Mars Volta accrued a decent following after they were on one of the Guitar Hero games. Everything you've ever heard about '90s comics is true. The obscenely large muscles, the balloon breasts, and the massive guns. The excessive amount of pouches on everybody's clothing. The gratuitous, leering obsession with the female form. Everything, and I mean everything, was Extreme!!!! It's all true, which is partly why I drifted from comics for a while during the decade.
