About this deal

Rarely can a Wraithseer be risked upon the battlefield. Armed with a Distortion Cannon, Wraithspear and Wraithshield, and wreathed in eldritch energy, a Wraithseer is still a potent foe despite its ancient age. If that type of roll involves one D6 (e.g. a hit roll), do not roll a dice; that roll is treated as an unmodified roll of 6. Also, for anyone who read the Eldritch Omens review, it looks like some Aspect equipment got some nerfs after that went to print, with the most notable changes being that Banshee Masks only work when you charge (and don’t apply -1A), Dragon fusion guns are just d6+2 damage now and don’t boost to d6+4, and death spinners don’t auto-hit. Bear that in mind while looking at the relevant units. Traveling Players allows you to bring a Harlequin Patrol with no penalty, with some deeper integration that gives you wide flexibility in accessing things like Warlord traits Some weapons have ‘Blast’ listed in their profile’s abilities. These are referred to as Blast weapons. In addition to the normal rules, the following rules apply to Blast weapons:

Rules for constructing an Asuryani army, including one that draws on the strengths of the Ynnari (which we’ll look at later today).Chaos Thwarted (899.M41) - A vast Word Bearers Traitor Legion voidship storms out of the Eye of Terror and sets a path towards Craftworld Il-Kaithe. In response, the Asuryani release their Ghost Warriors aboard the monstrous vessel. Battle rages within its cavernous corridors for several solar weeks, the Ghost Warriors enduring ferocious firepower from scores of Daemon Engines. Eventually, the tide of battle turns when, in one of the ship's rancid landing bays, three Il-Kaithe Wraithknights engage in combat with a debased Chaos Feral-class Titan. They finally blast it into the void of space and then begin the methodical slaughter of the remaining Chaos forces. The Gate creates a little bubble around it For combat a Wraithseer is always equipped with a Wraithspear and Wraithshield, and may also arm themselves with a Bright Lance, Scatter Laser, Eldar Missile Launcher, Starcannon or D-Cannon. Their psyker abilities are also quite potent, allowing them to assist friend and hamper foe. Wraithseers have been known to cloud their enemies' minds with the terror of death, enliven the spirit stones of ghost warriors around them to inspire fresh vigour, and alter fate to protect themselves and their charges. [1] Known Wraithseers

Eldar Dreadnoughts first appeared in White Dwarf 100 (UK), May 1988, pg.2. They are presented alongside Imperium and Orks Dreadnoughts. It is mentioned that Eldar craftsmen operate these machines through "mind-impulse link", allowing them to control the dreadnoughts as if they were their own bodies. [9] Dreadnoughts were joined a month later White Dwarf 101 (UK), June 1988, pg 2, by the Spirit-Warrior, also known by its commercial name: Eldar War Robot. Similar in design to Eldar Dreadnoughts, the main difference is that they are controlled by an Infinity Circuit rather than a pilot, and they can use Psychic Power if the transferred Eldar spirit is that of a Seer [10] Evolution toward the Wraithlord The Spirit-Warrior miniature-design and rules didn't make it in Codex: Eldar (2nd Edition); however, the Eldar Dreadnought lore evolved: An Eldar Dreadnough contains the spirit of a dead Eldar warrior [11], and its name was eventually changed to Wraithlord in Codex: Eldar (3rd Edition) (see pg 18). SourcesAll of these except Stand Firm help the unit they go on get a lot done in the turn you decide to commit with them, which is crucial for getting the payoff you need from your Aspects, while Stand Firm just adds a lot of utility at a low price, so why not. Meanwhile, the Wraithknight grapples with tanks or monsters, or blasts apart a fortress wall so that the smaller wraith-constructs can cause havoc inside.
