About this deal

As someone who struggles with pain from crocheting amigurumi, cotton yarn is not a good choice. Less of a stretch means more pulling and strain on my fingers, wrist, elbow and even shoulder. She was beautiful, but also strong and able to boss around a bunch of little men. Nowadays they would call that an aptitude for leadership. Alice in Wonderland has always been one of my very favorite classic Disney movies and these amigurumi patterns are incredible. We will begin with the crocheted Disney amigurumi patterns because there are a lot more of them. Plus, I actually made one and can’t wait to share how cute he is. Little Dwarfs

I chose Grumpy and I think my family could attest to the fact that some days I resemble this little guy in attitude and stature. Review First, I’ve always been a lover of Snow White. As a little girl, I loved how she persevered through such adversity and found her prince. Everyone has a favorite from the list of Disney Princesses! Maybe she’s one you most relate to in terms of personality, or maybe she’s from your favorite Disney Princess movie.Ok, that’s a bit of a stretch. I spent a few days searching on Google and looking through Etsy and Ravelry. I absolutely adore DMC Natura Just Cotton yarn. It comes in so many gorgeous colors and is the softest cotton yarn I have ever used.

That’s one reason why we have some fun craft ideas for you, such as Disney craft kits, Disney diamond painting, Disney Cricut ideas, Disney Perler bead patterns and a list of Disney amigurumi patterns! These “fun size” amigurumi dolls include four quintessential queens from the movies One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and The Little Mermaid. Alice in Wonderland Collection Most of the time, I prefer crocheted amigurumi toys over knitted ones. There is always a level of shaping and detail that seem to be more prevalent with crocheted toys. But that isn’t the case with Mr. Dart’s patterns. My favorites are Jaq and Gus from Cinderella. These two little mice look like they just stepped right out of the movie screen. Jaq with his oversized coat and Gus with his too tight T-shirt are about the cutest toys I’ve ever seen. Cinderella PantomiceBut I also wanted to see if I could return to using cotton yarn for crocheting amigurumi. Fatal mistake. My problem with Natura Just Cotton, and all other cotton yarns, is that it is a less stretchy yarn than it’s wool or acrylic counterparts. I am absolutely amazed at the level of detail they each have, and they still are small enough to sit on your finger. By changing a beard, clothing color, facial expressions and ears you can make seven distinct crocheted dwarfs. But these are a great low-cost way to crochet your favorite classic Disney characters! Free Disney Princess & Friends Crochet Patterns

Although my little Grumpy turned out absolutely adorable, I will not be making another amigurumi toy with it again. These little Cinderella Pantomice are just the cutest. But when you look closely you will see all the detail. I also love the detailed facial features like her eyes and mouth. Disney Knit Amigurumi Toy Patterns

Create your own Disney throw

Green Frog Crochet is such a talented amigurumi designer and her Tinker Bell pattern makes me squeal with delight. The Little Dwarfs amigurumi pattern is clearly written and easy to use. I like that there is a basic dwarf doll and then you are able to customize it to make each of the individual characters. My kids loved the movie Beauty and Beast so much that we named our first dog Belle, after the beautiful Disney princess. But one thing that makes princesses so endearing is also their friends! So on this list of Disney princess crochet patterns, we’re also including some of their companions as well as a few of the Disney Princes.
