About this deal

This new motorhome sat nav from Garmin is very similar to the previous 770 LMT-D model which we had reviewed before and were very impressed with. Garmin have made some modifications to the product by making it faster and by updating its software. This has made the Camper 780 even easier and pleasant to use. It’s just a shame the product no longer comes with a built-in traffic receiver which is now an optional extra. However, some may not be bothered by that and will be happy using the traffic information through Bluetooth. This product is perfect for the travelling motorhome or caravan enthusiast who has a passion for exploring and discovering new destinations. With its built-in dash cam, Wi-Fi and UK & European mapping, the Aguri Motorhome & Caravan AGR520 DVR 5″ Sat Nav will keep you safe and informed on your travels. Buy now and start your adventure!

As an avid caravan touring enthusiast myself, I can’t emphasise enough how important it is to have access to reliable routing options on your navigation device. Additional FeaturesThis model shows the current speed limits which are specific to your vehicle, the true speed the vehicle is running at, and a rather reliable estimated time of arrival. The smartphone-like touch screen makes it easy to pan across the map to find points of interest or to view the upcoming route and cities. It also makes it easy to go through menus. If you are comfortable using smartphones, these new motorhome and caravan sat navs are pretty similar and offer the same sort of intuitive use. The Garmin Camper 780 still offers great Guidance The Garmin Camper 780 is the perfect GPS sat-nav for those seeking an advanced navigation system to plan their next road trip. With features such as custom routing, voice activated navigation and helpful route warnings, it’s ideal for motorhome adventurers who want to travel in style and confidence. Get your Garmin Camper 780 today! But that doesn’t mean you need to jump to the higher end of the price range, either. For most people, middling prices are the best way to go, as these products usually meld both quality and affordability.

Only includes UK and European mapping, may not be suitable for those traveling outside of these areas. Voice commands suffer from the same issues as the DriveSmart 66, and it’s particularly frustrating that you can’t choose from a range of search options without glancing at the screen. However, the spoken and visual guidance is excellent, making good use of street names and landmarks. On rural journeys there are still some odd omissions, not to mention situations where a bear right becomes a right turn or you’re directed down a minor lane, but that’s an issue across most satnavs and satnav apps. And you still get a full range of smart features, including notifications and hands-free calling. As an all-round satnav, this one’s hard to beat. One crucial aspect to consider when selecting the perfect sat nav for your caravan or motorhome is the availability of smart routing options. These features are specifically designed to cater to large vehicles like caravans and motorhomes, ensuring that you avoid narrow roads and low bridges where possible while still reaching your destination efficiently.

The Garmin Camper 780 still offers great Guidance

If you think a built-in dash cam can be useful for you, go for the Camper 785 version and if you want an even bigger and higher resolution screen, go for the Camper 890. The Wi-Fi enabled updates ensure that your device always stays up-to-date with the latest maps and software. Additionally, traffic updates and speedcam warnings streamline your driving experience further without any hassle of connecting your smartphone or purchasing extra subscriptions! The icing on the cake is TomTom MyDrive and Road Trips – these features allow you to plan routes easily on multiple devices while discovering some of the world’s best road trips curated by fellow travellers. It’s no wonder we ranked this innovative gadget at No. 2 in our list. The next process we put in place was to see how cheap you can get products in the Sat Nav category and also just to see how expensive they can get too.

Explore without limits: TomTom’s customised camper and caravan routes: TomTom Campervan and Caravan Some brands and specific models can make a splash with consumers. Because of this, other companies sometimes offer very similar products that might be quite a bit cheaper. For example, devices like the Garmin Camper 780 offer a generous 6.95-inch edge-to-edge touchscreen display that makes viewing maps so much easier for GPS navigation systems while on the move.

User Reviews

This amazing feature makes the guidance as real as possible. The directions are easy to understand by the incorporation of popular and recognizable landmarks including traffic signals, buildings, etc. This sat nav Garmin camper 780 has proficient voice activated navigation which is a consistent peculiarity in all the previous models as well. When you pronounce ‘voice command’, the unit gets activated and displays the multiple voice-activated controls. In our modern world, electronics are all around us. You can’t go too far without bumping into something with an electric pulse. Whether it’s a television, your mobile phone or even appliances in your kitchen, you probably have dozens of electronics in your home at any given moment. For instance, there’s custom routing, as well as warnings of any approaching obstacles, such as steep grades or sharp curves – it can even advise you about any Environmental Zones on your journey.
