About this deal

Although largely stripped of valuables by scavenging Jawas, the remnants of the Khetanna near the sarlacc pit were part of Mos Eisley's Skywalker Tour. [4] Parts of the Khetanna were eventually used to line the interior of the Doe See'ybark Bootana restaurant. Soon after, Crimson Dawn sent invitations to many of the major crime lords in the galaxy, including Jabba. Revealing that they held Solo in their possession, they bid the invitees to travel to Jekara and witness the return of Crimson Dawn. Believing that Fett had cheated him and sold the smuggler to a competitor, Jabba placed a bounty on the hunter's head before departing for Jekara, leaving Fortuna to look over his palace. Unaware that the Hutt had left, Fett stormed through the castle's dusty gates, incinerating two Gamorrean guards and demanding that Fortuna give him answers. After explaining that his master was absent, Fortuna suggested that Fett leave, lest the retinue of thugs and mercenaries that made up Jabba's court turn their weapons on the hunter. Fett reminded the rabble, however, that many of their number would perish in a firefight against him, dying in the meager name of Bib Fortuna. With this in mind, no one fired a shot. [25] But while the team behind HasLab is hoping to expand the platform to a global scale, for now Jabba's sail barge is only available in the United States and Canada.

Jabba’s Sail Barge was featured in Star Wars Return of the Jedi. The ship dominates a major part of the opening film and is where both Jabba the Hutt and Bobba Fett meet their demise. The scene is also known for its reveal of Luke Skywalker in action with his new lightsaber (green) as well as showcasing many of the unique aliens of the Star Wars films. The loyal majordomo of Jabba the Hutt, Bib Fortuna would greet all who arrived at his master's palace. Later in the war, Fortuna greeted two droid visitors to his master's palace. The two mechanical units, called C-3PO and R2-D2, claimed that they had a gift for the Hutt. The majordomo demanded that they hand over that gift to him so he could bring it to Jabba himself, but the droids answered that their instructions were to give it only to the crime lord himself. Fortuna relented, and led the droids into the throne room, where they delivered a holographic message from their owner, the Rebel hero and fledgling Jedi Luke Skywalker. In the message, Skywalker asked to bargain for the life of his friend Han Solo, offering C-3PO and R2-D2 in exchange. [7]One Last Night in the Mos Eisley Cantina: The Tale of the Wolfman and the Lamproid" — Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina (Indirect mention only) What I’ve always liked about any vehicle that Hasbro or Kenner has developed,” Dern says, “is the detail that they capture and then the functionality of it. What opens? What little trap door does it have? What little space can we capture to have secret hidden compartments? It makes the experience much more fun, compelling and allows everyone to immerse themselves deeper into the fantasy.” Although rereleases aren't out of the question, Evans says Hasbro is concentrated on creating new, highly-articulated figures to populate Jabba's sail barge, so expect to see some complementary action figures released in 2019. There’s also the grappling gun that was fixed to the side of the wall, which is something that the original didn’t have (it was the gun they fastened to the rail to shoot at the skiffs, if I’m remembering correctly). It’s basic and somewhat boring. Plus side, you can just remove the connecting plate and clip it on the rails of your old one, if you feel inclined. In 2006, during the height of the Star Wars Prequel trilogy, Hasbro released a series of highly articulated 3 3/4 scale Star Wars figures from all six films. Dubbed The Legacy Collection, these figures were accompanied by a series of large scale classic Star Wars vehicles. These new highly detailed and larger versions of X Wing and Tie Fighters had a higher price point but were well worth it. In 2008, Hasbro began to release “in scale” versions of the Millennium Falcon and AT-AT Walkers that dwarfed the originals.

Rows that are gray are excluded from BIN calculations Star Wars: Return of the Jedi arrived in theaters on May 25, 1983, bringing an end to the original trilogy in memorable fashion. Marking its 40 th anniversary, StarWars.com presents “Jedi at 40,” a series of articles celebrating the film that brought us Jabba’s palace, Ewoks, Luke Skywalker’s final confrontation with the Emperor and Darth Vader, and so much more. But whether or not Jabba's luxury barge comes sailing into reality, Evans expects a lot of other exciting HasLab projects for Star Wars and the toymaker's other partners, with limited editions and releases. Once they had determined the sheer size, there was plenty of room for ingenuity. “You get to the point where it's like, 'Well, what else is behind these panels? What don't we see?'” Evans says. “And then we start using our imagination and, to be honest with you, that's quite a fun bit.” Is it wrong to be curious at all of the terribly wrong MOCs that will come out of a new Slave Leia figure being in the wild? Designers surmised that Jabba would need a kitchen to keep the serving trays of pesky astromech droids and the bellies of the barge guests full, so they created a galley kitchen, complete with fresh-caught meats. Transporting prisoners required a jail, including one forgotten Ithorian, now little more than a pile of bones in a cell, and an armory. The principle of HasLab is it's special. It is special and kind of ridiculous,” Evans says. So in limiting releases, designers have the chance to create mini masterpieces. “It's important to keep it meaningful and not have one running constantly.” It's definitely a lived-in world... I'm hoping people look at it with a sort of duality of like, 'Wow, that's what it looks like!' But also, 'Yeah, that's what it would look like.'”StarWars.com goes inside Hasbro's plan to make its largest Star Wars product ever -- with help from fans.
