About this deal

Crew literally has me on a chokehold. The way he's so arrogant (rightly so), reassuring and just so devoted to his little 'birdy' makes me want to go Crew hunting—he's a romantic despite his protests. Not to mention, his skills in bed. Ya'll- you aren't ready for him. You think you are but trust me, you're not.

After leaving Lancaster Prep, Spencer Donato has had to step up into his family business. getting his hands dirty for a while he is pleased to have been moved into a behind-the-scenes role. Attending his best friend’s wedding brings him face-to-face with Sylvie again after not seeing her since she finally gave up her virginity to him before promptly marrying an older man. Their relationship over the years had been up and down, Sylvie drawing him in before pushing him away time and time again. Not the author trying to redeem Crew by having him threaten to end a girl’s life for the same terrible behavior he partakes in 🤡. in reality, you get the cringiest...no *creepiest* romance?? between our two main characters, wren and crew. As someone who had her butt grabbed and held on for the exact same reason that was… traumatizing to read… especially when the author made it seem like it was okay because she was into it… 💀💀💀).

the romance between the two is not healthy, and it baffles me that this book is starting to trend amongst teens and be pitched as a spicy rom-com. FOR THE LOVE OF THE LORD EVERYONE I AWARE THE GODDAMN TEACHER IS A SEXUAL PREDATOR AND NO ONE DID NOTHING?!!? Him pining for her since the moment he saw her was standard but when he went all out with her bday/Christmas gifts????? My material girl heart grew ten sizes 🥹🥹 he def won me over by the end. The fact that he never gave up made me love him more. He took her leaving as incentive to prove himself to her and I loveeddddd this. Let me just say I wanted to love this book. I really did. It was one of my most anticipated releases this year and turns out I was so hyped for nothing at all.

I shouldn’t be drawn to her. She’s not my type. Until we’re forced to work together in class and realize we might have more things in common than we originally thought. Soon enough I find myself completely obsessed. I will do anything for this girl to make her fall in love with me. it's a coming-of-age story, especially for our girl wren, who throughout this book goes on a journey of liberating herself sexually and breaking out of the box she has put herself in her whole life, and the boy, crew, who helps her accept herself. she wears that word proudly through her purity ring, a promise she made to her father that she would only break once she is married. a good girl through and through, she is idolized by her younger peers, until her friends start to grow up and make their own choices. I genuinely thought I would hate this because of the way the first book turned out and Taz repeatedly telling me this book is shit💀 but I’m so glad I enjoyed this one. Ladies and gentlemen we are stopping our usually broadcasted review to bring the news that Daughter of Paper and Stone is tired of trying to form coherent thoughts and is just going to leave very specific reactions to the horrific book up ahead. Be warned that some of the contents may make people implore with the outrage that she did as well.

Multibuys

Coming home late one evening after a few drinks Grant finds a woman in his bed. Whilst he doesn’t know who she is, he isn’t surprised that there is one there knowing that it is probably a surprise from his brother – a somewhat silly tradition between them. Sliding into bed he rouses the woman and finds her responsive to him, although there is something familiar about her. I’m fuming madly with this book. 2022 is truly TRYING ME in the book department. It’s starting to make me sound like a broken record but honestly what are these books? You see, West and I? We share a secret. On a hot summer night in Paris, we hooked up. And I never do that. Ever. I revealed parts of myself to him I’ve never shown anyone else. He’s seen me at my most vulnerable. I told him my secrets. And he told me his. In Paris, he was sexy. Protective. Even dare I say…sweet.

Return to the glittering Lancaster world with the story of a damaged woman who gets her chance to redeem herself with the one man who’s been in love with her forever… wren’s entire personality is being a virgin. she is a high school girl who is infantilized by everyone around her, and the author intentionally slut shames every other girl to get this point across. The viral kiss and the video of Tate singing at the party do wonders for both of their burgeoning careers. So after some careful negotiation, the two of them agree to start a fake relationship. But before long they discover their feelings might not be fake after all …

Diaries & Calendars

But let me be clear - I loved this book because of Crew Lancaster. That man… I have no words. The way he was so respectful to her (most of the time), the way he was so freakin patient - literally everything about him! I was not expecting him to be that way and I was definitely surprised in the best possible way! Son of the family who own the school, Crew's life seems easy - but with an overbearing father and high expectations, it's anything but. Sometimes you just need a good drama filled, angsty teenage romance about a bunch of rich kids in a boarding school.
