About this deal

There are some things in life that are so predictably reliable, any change to the equilibrium would cause catastrophic disruption. Like the changing of the seasons, the annual holidays, and EA Sports’ insistence on screwing over Switch owners, Let’s Sing continues its annual releases with another set of both new and classic songs to sing along to with a group of friends and family. Much like the latest installment in Ubisoft's rolling Just Dance series, Let’s Sing 2022 is a safe and reliable new entry that does very little to convince anyone not already in the fold that they really should be singing. We wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s completely unchanged, but it’s about as close as you’re going to get. World Contest: It’s you against the world! Climb to the top of the leaderboard by challenging friends or another singer online all around the world. Let’s Party: Eight players, two teams and randomly chosen game modes: this option will take your Let’s Sing party to the next level. Encanto aside, it does feel like the barrel is being scraped. A little. Certainly in terms of the golden oldies for fuddy-duddies like us, it’s hard to point a finger at Kung Fu Fighting and Avril Lavigne’s Complicated and say that, that is the pinnacle of pre-2020’s music. They each have some fun vocal sections that you’re probably already singing, but we wouldn’t consider them greats. Personally, we cannot wait to sing along to Eiffel 65’s Blue and early 2000s classic Complicated by Avril Lavigne. As you can see, there’s a great mix of mostly pop songs, but there’s going to be plenty of fun had in trying to sing them all.

PS4: choose between maximum of 4 Smartphones or 2 USB-Mics + 1 Headset (or 2 USB-Mics + 2 SingStar-Mics) Test your skills against other performers with our online leaderboard! More songs are waiting in the in-game store. Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands) may take longer to reach you. No mic at hand? It doesn't matter - with the Let's Sing Microphone-App, you can turn your smartphone into a microphone in no time at allLet’s Sing games are an opportunity to have fun, let your hair down, and probably annoy your neighbours. Give it your all and become the superstar you were meant to be with a playlist that features current hits as well as classics that guarantee a blast from the past.

This review of Let’s Sing 2022 is based on the PS5 version, with a code provided by the game’s publisher. It’s available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch and PC. When you’re measuring a Let’s Sing by the songs it has to offer, things tend to get incredibly subjective. But this is a review, so subjective it is. To our tastes, Let’s Sing 2023 isn’t a patch on Let’s Sing 2022. It feels like the slider has moved way, way over to songs from the past couple of years, rather than a wider timeframe, and we like a broader mix than that. PS4: choose between maximum of 4 Smartphones or 2 USB-Mics + 2 Headsets or 2 USB-Mics + 2 SingStar-Mics

Perform alone or grab a friend for a duet or friendly vocal challenge in both online and offline game modes. Have fun with the Let's Party mode where you can harmonize with up to eight singers or climb to the top of the worldwide online leaderboards. Coming out just in time for the holiday season, who wouldn’t be looking forward to belting out Last Christmas with their friends and family? This annual karaoke series has proved to be popular, and another entry is just around the corner. Let’s Sing 2022 is set to release on on 23rd November. As always, it’s coming to PS4, Xbox One and Switch, and for the first time it’ll be getting a native release on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, too. That makes it the first next-generation karaoke game, if that’s something worth getting excited about.

Of course, the familiarity won’t be an issue for those who haven’t previously stepped foot into the world of Let’s Sing. Instead, they’ll probably be impressed by its selection of modes. Classic mode is the bread and butter of the series, letting players choose any of the songs on offer before seeing if they can do them justice either alone or with up to three others singing alongside them. Each player gets their own score, so you can make it competitive if you wish. Game Modes: • Legend: Sing your way to the karaoke throne in Singleplayer mode. Grab a microphone, earn stars and defeat your competition to prove that the spotlight is yours! This includes a copy of the Let’s Sing 2023 game and the Let’s Sing 2023 Song Pass which allows you to sing all of the DLC Content! If you don’t have a Let’s Sing on the hard drive or on the shelves, though, then the review takes a markedly different tone. Because while Let’s Sing hasn’t received much of an upgrade, and the songs are shruggable, this is an extremely well presented and fully functioning piece of kit. There is even an ‘if it’s not broke, don’t fix it’ argument which holds some water.
