About this deal

It is revealed that Kenji is a member of the Rebellion against the Reestablishment, called Omega Point. Adam, Juliette, and James are recruited by, and then join the Rebellion. His eyes scan the silhouette of my structure and the slow motion makes my heart race. I catch the rose petals as they fall from my cheeks, as they float around the frame of my body, as they cover me in something that feels like the absence of courage.” Shatter Me's numerous metaphors, similes, and endless descriptions just didn't make sense. What is this?: Fracture Me: non sono nemmeno sicura di volergli dare un giudizio, perché trovo Adam troppo irritante e inutile

Although he is protective of Juliette and would risk himself and give up his life for her, he knows she can take care of herself and respects how strong and powerful she is. He has full confidence in her and reminds her how capable she is all the time. As well as the Shatter Me series Mafi has also written The Furthermore Series aimed at 9-14-year-olds and the YA novel A Very Large Expanse of Sea. A Very Large Expanse of Sea follows Shirin, a sixteen-year-old Muslim girl who's tired of the abuse she receives because of her race and religion until she meets Ocean James. He is the first person who wants to get to know her and is interested in what she has to say. When Juliette Ferrars was just a girl she accidently murdered another young boy in a grocery store with an unexplainable power she could not and still not is capable of controlling. With one touch she is able of paralyzing and killing someone by stealing their energy. Although Juliette and the people around her are unable to understand her power, it does not stop individuals from fearing that said power. So as the book begins, Juliette has been trapped in an insane asylum for three years by The Reestablishment. With her sanity deteriorating due to seclusion and self-loathing everything begins to change when she meets up with a new cell mate named Adam Kent. He is beyond in love with Juliette. It is so special because he is closed off and cold-hearted with everyone else, but with Juliette, he is the definition of the best boyfriend. Ever. He is so passionate it makes me want to scream or cry or laugh or something just thinking about him. Also, I have no doubt whatsoever that he would kill anyone who harms Juliette. He wouldn’t even bat an eye. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------To her surprise, Juliette gets a cellmate who goes by the name of Adam Kent. He reminds Juliette of someone distant she used to know, however she convinces herself otherwise. At first, Adam and Juliette remain distant with each other but become closer over the week as Juliette shows him the ways of the asylum. Warner drags Juliette into an abandoned classroom and tells Juliette he loves her. Warner kisses Juliette, so she seduces him to get the gun from him. She non-fatally shoots him. She finds Adam in a slaughterhouse, and they escape, although Adams's leg is badly injured. They meet up with Kenji and James, whom Kenji has given sedatives so that he will not be traumatized by the condition Adam is in.

SHATTER ME (review)". Dolly. November 2011. Archived from the original on 2014-10-28 . Retrieved 28 October 2014. However, there was one thing that for me was even more annoying than the descriptions, the similes, the strikes, and that was the stupid repetition thing: "and then and then and then..." Again, if it had been used once, or sparingly even, then it wouldn't be so bad. I may have thought it was an interesting literary technique. But Shatter Me had way way way too much of everything (see what I did there?). From the magnetic pull of its intricate characters to the compelling narrative full of twists and turns, this series delivers on all fronts. It speaks to the human experience — the struggles, triumphs, love and heartbreak — making it deeply relatable, even amidst the dystopian setting and superhuman abilities. Honestly enjoyed this. I did think Adam went through some unnecessary butchering to get the relationships in place, but I'm quite pleased where it ended up (because I'm a fangirl at heart). Speaking of relationships, I thought it was a tad dramatic, but then you had Kenji and his comments poking fun at the drama. That was a nice touch - it showed self-awareness, and ensured that I never felt that this book took itself too seriously. Tahereh Mafi’s Shatter Me series has sold more than a million books. It’s a YA dystopian series centering around a girl named Juliette. Juliette has a very unique power in that anyone she touches dies.Warner is just... almost there? I must admit that a few times, he had potential to be a good character. I thought he was the only character that brought something. He made me cringe. He made me angry, made me feel uncomfortable. He was getting there. At least then I felt like he had some sort of purpose in this story. Then he would say something so cheesy, so inconsistent with his character, and just downright stupid that I lost all hope in him. As such, the romance in Shatter Me is all very PG-13. There is no smut or explicitly sexual content. Everyone gets a happy ending. (obviously not the bad guys lol). By happy ending, I don’t mean everything is perfect, but I am saying that almost everyone gets what they wanted (everyone meaning the good characters). Also, although there was one big main goal that was shared, everyone still had specific things they wanted, which eventually happened.
