About this deal

Writing is a lot of sitting down... It's a lot of trying things out and screwing up... It's either amazing or it's the worst thing in the world. Sometimes it goes well, and it's all you think about, and then, it's gone. It's like you're taking a ride down a river really fast, and then all of a sudden, there's no water. You're just sitting in a raft, trying to push it along in the mud. And then you've become me." I think if I could have read all three books at once and pretended they were one very long book, I would have liked this more. As is, it’s a solid three point five. Friends, you’d think a book that is centered around two different murders would be a lot more exciting and enjoyable to read. I know I sound harsh already, but I just really thought I was going to love this one. But I truly only ended up loving the atmosphere of the setting and the amazing anxiety rep. That’s it. There was a character named Vi, who is non binary character, I was really happy with this rep but every other time they are mentioned, Vi is mentioned instead of using the pronoun.

Readers will be eager to know the novel’s conclusion but will never want the book to end. Replete with intrigue, thoughtfulness, and depth, The Hand on the Wall is a mystery of the moment and for the ages.” — San Francisco Book Review I loved the Elligham mystery so much like i wish it would have been a standalone book exploring only Elligham mystery , with its characters like I loved Dottie, Albert, Francis i felt connected to them who were the side characters like they had that depth that something we need to love a character ! There you go! That’s what happened in The Vanishing Stair . We hope youenjoyed this The Vanishing Stair summary with spoilers.Ahhh David was really not okay in this book.🤣 And now he's run off and away from Ellingham. RIP David. Also, David is still.........well, let's just stay that I still don't like him. He really annoys me. Although, I've gotta say that he is funny, if crazy.

over the four (!) books since that first promising start, those things have slowly faded, and they have been replaced with a series of nightmares.

Personalized picks at your fingertips
