About this deal

The notes of a fragrance are the individual scents that make up the anatomy of the perfume. Top notes of this cologne, which are what you sense when you first spray it, include: Juniper, Lilly and Wildflowers. The middle notes which last throughout most of the scent’s life are iris and linen. Then after the fragrance dies down you are left with the base notes: Tobacco, Amber and Tarragon. Juniper is actually an original favoring for Gin and through the Dutch word for Juniper is how Gin got it’s name. Juniper is a piney scent and is why people would classify The Dreamer as a woodsy fragrance but, I don’t think it is with wildflowers, amber and tobacco. Tarragon is a very pungent and sweet spice used in soda within Russia giving this fragrance it’s originality. The Dreamer starts sweet and gradually dries down to a warm woody scent. Top notes include clary sage, lavender, and mandarin. The heart (which seems to be what most people object to) is a combination of geranium, rose, and tobacco. Ask any scent buff for their top Versace cologne recommendation, and they’ll likely say Eros. It’s a crowd-pleaser and the safest blind buy on the list. Fans of Versace Man Eau Fraiche liken its light scent to a sunny day at the pool, and we agree. Eau Fraiche is the best Versace Cologne for summer.

I find VD much too sweet and cloying, Ditto Sculpture, M7 and Opium for Men, but as the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's Persian. To each his own. The box is purple with silver stars scattered throughout. It will have the Versace name and concentration on the front. The batch code will be on the bottom of the box and bottle. Mine is 21682P.

It’s also sweet and powdery with a subtly spicy, fresh, and herby drydown. The cologne also boasts an amazingly deep tobacco aroma. This opening is rather intense, and you can smell the tobacco notes strongly. The opening then dries down systematically to reveal a warm, drier, woody scent featuring cedar, vetiver, and fir. Due to several reformulations, current versions might not smell exactly like the original formula. Recent top notes include: One of my favorite reasons to wear The Dreamer is to spice up my collection. The unique tobacco note I’ve been harping on the entire article is alluring if you enjoy the smell.

In this Versace Dreamer review, you will discover why this fragrance elicits such divergent views. Read on to learn more about the cologne’s fragrance notes, presentation, and who is most likely to wear it. The Story Behind Versace the Dreamer EDT Cologne

Versace’s The Dreamer lasts pretty much forever and has strong projections. Projection is the strongest for the first 1-2h; after that, it doesn’t project at all. It just lingers on your skin until it fades. If you’re looking for something that lasts all evening, this fragrance is a great bet. This isn’t the best choice if it’s your very FIRST fragrance. Yet, for everyone else, it’s a great addition to your collection. The Versace Dreamer smell begins sweet but gradually hits a masculine woody smell. Reformulated many times, the dreamer of today’s scent profile consists of Juniper, Tarragon, and Artemisia. Iris, Lily, and Flax make up the heart. In 2012, Aurelien Guichard developed the fragrance, which is a fresh, woodsy, oriental scent. Top notes of Italian lemon, mint oil, and green apple give the cologne a crisp opening. Over time, the fragrance dries down to a seductive vetiver and cedar base with a hint of sweet, masculine vanilla. Cultivating awareness and a deep understanding of the power of scent is crucial in helping you appreciate fragrances. It will also empower you to navigate the somewhat intimidating world of assorted fragrances with utmost confidence.
