The BabyBjörn Baby Carrier Miracle is an excellent carrier with an intuitive design that adapts with little effort to the needs of both baby and wearer. Yes, you can use Baby Carrier Free for your newborn (7 lbs/3.2 kg), and no extra infant insert is necessary. Please remember that the leg straps should be used to reduce the size of the leg openings for babies between 7 and 9 lbs (3.2 and 4.5 kg). The Miracle has an adjustable waist belt, and includes a unique measuring tape adjustment inside the carrier so you can make sure the seat is a best fit for your child. For parents, the adjustable waist belt combines with infinite adjust shoulder straps allowing parents to evenly distribute the weight on shoulders and waist, or take weight off either the waist or the shoulders. This makes the fit even more customized. Also, the waist belt flexes as it pivots meaning it stays flat on the stomach and doesn’t dig in. I hated carrying it around with us and sometimes it just worked out better to throw Kalyra in the bed with us.Changing pad: A portable changing pad will come in handy when you need to change your baby’s diaper on the go.
