Another claim is that the KRK Rokit RP5 G4 line series minimizes listening fatigue, which is an important factor. That is not very easy to compare and verify, but as the other claims seem to be based on truth, we take it that long sessions should be more enjoyable on the G4 models than on the G3 speakers. Note that the third generation (G3) series did not have the Kevlar woofer and tweeter. This is a great addition for the G4 since it is able to have the best features that are added by this woofer. But why Kevlar? Recently, most studio monitor creators have been adding the Kevlar woofer and tweeter in their units, now KRK included. When added in with great engineering and precision, the Kevlar speaker ensures that there is a consistent distribution of sound in the studio monitor. That way, you are able to hear very clear conics and even single out any faint errors you may have made during recording without any strain. I did not know I needed monitors until I got them - no headphones can replace the wall and amazement of sound you get to enjoy music with these bad boys.

The Yamahas win on overall sound quality, but only by a whisker, and we do get the comments from some users that the KRKs are more suited to modern and punchier productions.
