About this deal

Please note that Royal Mail currently classes perfumes, nail polishes, flammable liquids and aerosols as "hazardous materials" and will only accept a limited number of these per parcel. Based on their original formula from 1933, Formula 10.0.6 So Totally Clean is a gentle, yet effective toning cleanser that gets deep into the layers of the skin to remove dirt and unwanted impurities while gently exfoliating for a super smooth, clarified complexion. I used ten o six for many years from my early teens in the 1970s through early adulthood. I used to buy it by the gallon from the nicer local department stores. I sort of recall they used to have the gallon on sale once or twice a year. I stopped using it probably in my 30s because it was getting harder to find AND it would stain/discolor the plastic frames of my glasses, around the nose part. I started using ten o six again, because even though I am nearly 60 yo, my skin is still oily, which drives me crazy because I now live in very humid ... Read more Florida. Ten o six seems to be keeping my skin from collecting massive surface oil (aggravated by using sun screens). My face now feels 'dry', or simply not oily. I also use the OTC version of differin (adapalene gel, 0.1%), a synthetic retinoid. Ten o six is wonderful and I've used it for other skin issues. A compress of ten o six even helped dry out an allergic dermatitis episode and stopped the intense itching I felt, and I only had to use it once.

Cleanser — Wash off a day’s hard work and makeup with a Formula 10.0.6 cleanser and keep excess oil and acne at bay, leaving the face feeling clean, clear and healthy. Kiehl’s: as a high-end skincare brand, Kiehl’s prides itself on its high-quality, natural ingredients. Kiehl’s products tend to be more expensive than Formula 10.0.6, but they also offer more advanced formulas with a wider range of benefits. Kiehl’s focuses on providing luxurious, effective skincare solutions that prioritize the use of natural ingredients. Be consistent: Consistency is key when it comes to skincare. Use the products consistently, preferably daily, to see the best results. Neutrogena: as a well-established brand, Neutrogena has been creating dermatologist-recommended skincare products for decades. While Neutrogena offers a wide range of skincare products for all skin types, Formula 10.0.6 has a more targeted approach. Formula 10.0.6 prioritizes natural ingredients and affordability, while Neutrogena focuses on providing clinical-strength solutions for common skin concerns like acne and aging.

Ingredients– Detoxifying clays- Kaolin, Bentonite, soothing Aloe Vera, Vitamin E, calming cucumber, antiseptic Bergamot, cleansing Sea salt and Vitamin C rich Orange extract. If a brand is listed as “not cruelty-free” in our database, you can rest assured that their products were tested on animals in recent years. Formula 10.0.6 is cruelty-free but not 100% vegan, meaning that some of their products contain animal-derived ingredients. Formula 10.0.6 products are free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates, making them safe to use for all skin types.

These products have been tested for safety and effectiveness, and are formulated with high-quality ingredients that are thought to be safe for most people.

We have a list of 100% vegan brands, and you can also filter our official list of cruelty-free brands and choose to show vegan brands only. It’s also important to note that some Formula 10.0.6 products may be better suited for certain skin types than others. For example, if you have oily skin, you may want to opt for products that are designed to control oil production and minimize the appearance of pores. Apricot: Rich in vitamins A and C, apricot is a natural exfoliant that helps to remove dead skin cells and improve skin texture.

However, some of the brands owned by these parent companies are cruelty-free and have strict policies against animal testing. It’s totally meant to be for teenagers/young people (i.e. not me) but that isn’t standing in the way of me really liking the products I’ve tried. I have oily, blemish prone skin so I feel that Formula 10.0.6 is a good match for my skin type. We have better news regarding the three magic abilities of vitamin C: there is in-vivo (tested on real people) data showing that SAP does have photo-protective (aka antioxidant) properties, though less than pure AA. SAP might also aid collagen boosting;in-vitro (made in the lab) data shows that it works, but is less effective than another vitamin C derivative, called MAP (that seems to be as effective as pure AA). As for skin-brightening, there is a trade publication with in-vivo data showing that SAP can fade brown spots. Peeling mask — Try the trending Formula 10.0.6 peel-off mask for an oh-so-satisfying treatment. This one uses charcoal to draw out dirt from deep within the pores, leaving your skin detoxed and ready for the rest of your routine. For example, their Best Face Forward cleanser is a great all-around cleanser that’s gentle enough to use every day, while their Pores Be Pure mud mask is a powerful treatment that can be used once or twice a week to deep-clean and clear up problem areas. And because all of their products are affordable, it’s easy to create a comprehensive skincare routine without breaking the bank. Popular Formula 10.0.6 products for different skin typesCaution: Use with care. For external use only. Keep out of eyes. If irritation or rash develops, discontinue use. SAP (the vit C derivative, not the enterprise software, obvs) is a promising derivative that has great stability up to pH 7. The challenge with it thoughis skin penetration. Unfortunately, it seems to be limited, or to quote a great article from theJournal of Cosmetic Dermatology "topically applied ascorbyl phosphate salts are, at very best, poorly absorbed in comparison with AA". Regarding conversion to AA, there seems to be no data about it, so we can neither deny nor confirm it. Improved texture: In addition to clearing up problem areas, Formula 10.0.6 products can also help to improve your overall skin texture. Many of their products contain moisturizing ingredients like aloe vera or shea butter, which can help to soothe and soften your skin while also improving its texture over time. You can also filter our list of cruelty-free brands to only show brands that are not owned by any company that tests on animals.

Start with a clean face: Before using any Formula 10.0.6 product, make sure your face is clean and free from any dirt or makeup residue. Use a gentle cleanser or face wash to ensure your skin is ready to absorb the product. More even skin tone: If you struggle with uneven skin tone or hyperpigmentation, Formula 10.0.6 has products that can help. Many of their products contain brightening ingredients like vitamin C or licorice root extract, which can help to even out your skin tone and reduce the appearance of dark spots or blemishes. Another satisfied customer shared her experience using the Formula 10.0.6 Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser, which helped her to control her oily skin and prevent breakouts. Green Tea– this ingredient is used in several Formula 10.0.6 products due to its antioxidant properties. Green tea contains polyphenols that help neutralize free radicals and reduce inflammation, making it an excellent ingredient for those with oily or acne-prone skin.In the beauty industry, it’s common for brands to be owned by a larger company. These are called parent companies, and they’re often global corporations such as L’Oreal, Estee Lauder, or Procter & Gamble. And there is even more regarding SAP and acne. A nice double-blind study from 2009 showed that 5% SAP reduced the inflammatory lesions by 20.14% and 48.82% within 4 and 8 weeks respectively and when combined with 0.2% retinol the results were even better. With this combination treatment, the improvement was 29.28% after 4 weeks and 63.10% after 8 weeks of application. Keep your looking matte and oil-free with Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturiser. This hydrating moisturiser keeps the skin smooth and shine-free all day long, with a soft-focus finish. Mainland China still requires these mandatory animal tests for most companies. Is it possible for brands to bypass them? Yes, however it’s currently extremely rare as brands need to “jump through several hoops”.
