About this deal

By the time December 2022 rolls around, and we’re thinking about how to celebrate the year just gone (in LEGO), remind us to put together a list on ‘the most random and unexpected minifigure line-ups’. It’s a niche category, for sure, but one that 75342 Republic Fighter Tank is likely to top. Gift idea for ages 7 and up – This 262-piece building toy makes a fun holiday gift, birthday present or surprise treat for creative kids who are into Star Wars: The Clone Wars Surely simply knowing the information and being able to notice references that others cannot is good enough, or do you need that surefire satifaction from making someone look as if they are an idiot. What you really want to know from this review is whether the rest of 75342 Republic Fighter Tank is worth a slice of your LEGO budget, and the answer is satisfying straightforward: yes, almost certainly. It’s not the biggest Republic Fighter Tank, nor the prettiest, but it bests both its predecessors in at least one department, and for that it shouldn’t be overlooked – at least if only to see how the LEGO Group has managed to come up with a third completely different way to build this vehicle. While essential characters and notable vehicles remain paramount, LEGO Star Wars sometimes features lesser-known subjects. 75342 Republic Fighter Tank definitely satisfies that need, since these Clone Trooper minifigures originate from Hasbro action figures!

In addition to the exciting features and detailed design, this set introduces the 187th Legion Clone Trooper for the first time in LEGO history. This exclusive minifigure adds a unique element to the collection and will surely delight fans and collectors alike. The opportunity to lead their mini-dolls into battle and beyond will ignite the imagination of young space troopers. Regardless, I have no issue with LEGO producing Legends sets or minifigures. In fact, there are myriad subjects I would love to see, notably including the Ebon Hawk to accompany the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic remake. I'm only disappointed that the tank itself didn't turn out to have purple highlights in place of the dark red like one rumor had suggested. Would have been absolutely perfect!Honestly the whining about the figures in the review and ending up calling the set 'confusing' and 'muddled' without really showing that, are detracting. You wanted different figures, we get it, leave it alone. Isn’t it kind of a silly critique to complain about the Clones included when they’re part of Mace’s battalion" The turret section now has some more detail panels which help the top close level and not dip down. Included in this set are four LEGO minifigures that bring the action to life. Mace Windu, a legendary Jedi Master, leads the charge with his lightsaber in hand. The 187th Legion Clone Commander and Troopers, in their new-for-May-2022 versions, join the fight with blaster rifles. To make the battles even more intense, two Battle Droids are included, armed with their own blasters. Each minifigure is intricately designed and comes with cool weapons, adding to the authenticity of the Clone Wars experience.LEGO Star Wars buildable tank toy playset (75342) – Fans can help Mace Windu and his 187th Legion Clone Troopers in Star Wars: The Clone Wars defeat the Battle Droids with this Republic Fighter Tank Also, I am not really into legends as I think that Canon is more worthwhile to know in terms of actual star wars geekiness. XD" I would love to see Ponds in minifig form, but I doubt that would ever happen since he was only in two Clone Wars arcs excluding the Windu assassination. Also random fun fact, we actually have the Lightning Squadron in minifig form!" This minifigure selection seems somewhat surprising, since the purple-armoured troopers originate from Star Wars Legends." Next is Chapter 12-13, where Mace is unchanged, but his many troops start out wearing basic white, and are completely red by the end of the battle. I don’t think any of them ever got to wear unit markings.
