About this deal

We have written a number of statements that are based around chapter 5 of the book for your KS2 class.

Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes - Deen, Sophie 9781406382723: Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes - Deen, Sophie

I bought this for my 8 year old grandson who loves numbers, codes and of course computers as a treat. He absolutely loves it - just his thing. He has enlisted his family into agent training once he had completed his own! I like how it links and reinforces computer curriculum taught in schools. The agent training really reinforces online safety in an interesting way.Your Year 3 / Year 4 class will identify where the apostrophes need to go within the short sentences and determine whether they have been used to show possession or for a contraction.

Agent Asha: Mission Shark Bytes eBook : Deen, Sophie, Sarkar

I am glad I found this as my daughter expressed interest in spies/mysteries etc. I decided to get it as past of her birthday present and she has loved it so much. She still talks about it and carries around her CSA card. We have asked a range of questions linked to the chapter to challenge your class and encourage them to reflect on what has been read and then apply some of their knowledge and understanding to make predictions and generate their own plan. Agent Asha helps kids with STEM, coding and creativity through award-winning spy stories and games. We teach kids 21st-century skills using hi-tech spy stories, because not every kid wants to be a coder, but almost everyone wants to be a spy!

Bright Little Labs' founder Sophie Deen's awards include the Barclays Start-Up Founder of the Year 2017, British Interactive Media Association Innovator 2017 and Computer Weekly's Most Influential Women in UK IT 2017. Sophie worked at Code Club, alongside Google and the Department for Education, to help introduce the new coding curriculum in primary schools. She then worked on their international strategy in over 80 countries. Sophie believes wholeheartedly in the power of creativity, toilet humour and stories to inspire the next generation. Anjan Sarkar studied illustration at Manchester Metropolitan University, then worked as a barista, barman, document scanner, online content developer, graphic designer and now, freelance illustrator. Anjan works from a little studio in his home in Sheffield, where he lives with his wife and two young children. A fantastic gift for the curious and intrepid kids in your life. From the moment they receive their TOP SECRET envelope and you are shooed away, you know they're hooked. Codes, missions. The Children's Intelligence Agency has it all! Characters: Asha is smart and stubborn and adventurous. Her nannybot helps her by telling her what she should do and be responsible. Her hamster is the comic character, mostly interested in selfies and social media. My 7 year old daughter and 9 year old son loved this book and, as a parent, I can't praise it highly enough. It was a genuinely great read for the modern child. Good fun, good to see a wonderfully inspiring female lead and fantastic that it encourages an interest in coding. It's a great way to encourage girls to think that STEM subjects might actually be for them. The WHAT-A BOTTLE: It turns even the muddiest puddle water into clean drinking water and is also a state-of-the-art multi-tool that includes: a Screwdriver, Laser torch, Emergency dog whistle, and a diamond cutter

The app keeps crashing and doesn't let you get passes the first stage. My daughter was so excited to use it then so dissaponted after several failed attempts.
