About this deal

INCLUDES 4 ATTACHMENTS & SPATULA — Your electric stand mixer comes with a flexi beater that has silicone edges, a standard beater, a dough hook and a balloon whisk. An Andrew James spatula is also included for your convenience. The Andrew James Food Mixer boasts some exceptional features such as an extra Powerful motor, Special robust gear mechanism and a huge 5.2 litre Stainless steel dish. The mixer was recently voted by The Telegraph Newspaper as being in The Top Ten Best Food Mixers. Some say it is noisy but when I tested against other 7 litre mixers I found it to be about the same. Remember a 7 litre mixer is a serious bit of kitchen kit. EXTRA LONG BEATERS, DOUGH HOOKS AND BALLOON WHISK — This food mixer comes with 215mm beaters, a pair of dough hooks to help with bread making and a balloon whisk for whipping up cream, eggs and milk etc. All removable parts are dishwasher safe. I bought the 5.2l little version about 6 months ago with no extra stuff like mincer, etc. Just the stand mixer itself.

Andrew James Stand Mixer - Black - My Kitchen Accessories

The new powerful Andrew James Food Mixer is the ideal appliance for all of your kitchen preparation requirements. Whether you’re an amateur cook or a professional chef, the Andrew James food mixer will make time consuming kitchen tasks such as mixing, whipping, stirring and kneading simple and easy. ive got the AJ 7l stand mixer ... its noisy and basic, but does the job. only can go on high speed for a few minutes at a time according to the manual, as apparently it will burn the motor out if you run it for more than 3 or 4 mins  A variety of cakes, Yorkshire puddings, batter for fried fish, pizza dough, brownies, sauces, doughnuts. Any Tips?

Superdrug adds new 'VIP Rewards' offers to its existing loyalty scheme – here's what you need to know the bowl is not as big as the andrew james one was - but it does mix to the edges..and the dough hook actually mixes the dough rather than takes it on a tour of the bowl....also .in the spirit of "if i'm going to break it i'd better do it straight away" I made over a kilo of bread dough....and it survived..(a kilo is obviously too much for the bowl size by the way) The Andrew James Stand Mixer is one of their top-selling products with award-winning design features. I've also found that the attachments don't quite touch the bottom of the bowl, so if you're planning on using the mixer on small ingredient quantities (such as to whip ½ cup of heavy cream or to beat 2 egg whites) the attachments will miss the ingredients and nothing will happen. The Summary

I was toying with the idea of one day replacing it with KitchenAid (when I can afford one) but am now a bit unsure since the KitchenAid Artisan is only 300W whilst this one is very powerful at 1,500W. Is the low wattage on the KA a problem at all? This kitchen hand mixer comes with a pair of extra long beaters, measuring 215mm each, you can mix ingredients right to the bottom, even in a deep mixing bowl. We’ve also made sure you have freedom of movement with your mixer by including a 1.5m power cable so you can move the mixer round rather than the bowl. As well as a pair of beaters you also get a pair of dough hooks and a balloon whisk, all of which are dishwasher safe. there was an odd smell the first couple of times I used it as the oil burned off but its been no trouble at all The Andrew James Food Mixer AJ000194 is a low priced stand mixer which on paper seems to do everything the pricier models do. It's available in four vibrant colours to match other appliances in the range and has a large 5.2 litre stainless steel bowl and standard range of attachments. Our tests found that this reasonably priced mixer delivered good results for many tasks, but isn't good at whisking. Overall, though, it's a good mixer at a great price. I required a replacement after first use which was delivered to me 1 day after I reported the fault. ThankyouThis hand mixer is extremely easy to use and you’ll love how much time and effort is saves you with everyday baking tasks. When you want to change over attachments make sure you turn the mixer off at the wall and unplug it to ensure there’s no power going to it before you hit the eject button. Also, don’t allow the motor to run for more than 10 minutes before letting it cool down for half an hour. Now each has broken down again but the company is refusing to repair or replace them because they say the warranty applies to the original transaction, not to the item. Thus all three are out of warranty. I'm glad I bumped in to this post. I too was looking for a KitchenAid mixer because when I took Culinary, it was all we used. Wow... was it powerful and efficient. Of course the price is not appealing and I really wanted the Yellow one. Oh well, I will definitely look this one up. I have used the mixer for the last 16 months to make bread, cakes, pastry, mousses, batters, souffles, ice creams and more and have found it to be a very good mixer, especially for the price.
