About this deal

Just received, unboxed Liquid Freezer II, dropped in to the case from the top, to see clearance, so far looks good. Will update here once I put together everything. Some mechanical interference with surrounding components may appear. The fan will not be controllable by PWM. The illuminated P-fans are already mounted on the radiator from the factory. During the development of the new P-series fans, special emphasis was placed on a focused airflow and thus a high static pressure. The fans guarantee extremely efficient cooling, even with increased air resistance. Therefore, the P-series fans are particularly suitable for use on heatsinks and radiators. Just had a look. With a 360 rad (or any 120mm based rad) on top, you will have the option to mount the radiator either flush with low profile memory or 20mm offset away from the memory. Should be plenty of room.

I've bought the 420 version but I'm surprised how little PC cases support it, so I started wondering what's the cooling performance difference. A selection of motherboards interferes with the cooler. Below is a list of motherboards which have been confirmed to have this problem. unfortunately this only mounts 360mm on the top, and the front mount is too far away for the the hoses to reach the cpu. Miraculously, the Meshify 2 allows for sliding fans up or down as you please, so down they went. The rear fan needed to go particularly low, such that the bottom to screws wouldn't line up with their holes. I believe I can find rubber screw replacements that can stretch through the partially showing holes if there is any vibrational noise. The manual for the case has a good set of example configurations and dimension considerations included. Additionally, all coolers shipped by ARCTIC are already compatible with Intel's Alder Lake and Raptor Lake LGA1700 processors. Arctic doesn't state how much heat wattage are they suitable for, but surprisingly they provide some comparison data. Have you noticed that both coolers achieve the same CPU temp on the graphs AIO : Arctic Liquid Freezer II 420 A-RGB. (offset -A, Top mount, Fan Set to exhaust, AIO came with the fans mounted as advertised). that is, both keep the CPU temp at 50 degrees in the same hardware setup. There's only a visual manipulation to deceive you that the 420 performs better (the axis starts at 45 degrees).

Plus, our sophisticated cable management hides the PWM cables of your radiator fans in the sleeving. The Liquid Freezer II's fiber-reinforced 45 cm tubing allows for installation even in large cases and effectively prevents coolant evaporation, so you don't have to worry about refilling your compact water cooling system. I have the same case, thermaltake view 71 with a ATX Motherboard, MSI MEG X570 ACE, Had an MSI MAG Series CORELIQUID 360R and it failed on me after 8 months. Small fans have the reputation of being particularly loud and not very durable; that’s why we set out to develop a quiet, sturdy diagonal fan especially for the Liquid Freezer II. We’re 100% convinced that this 40 mm fan is just as durable as our other case fans. If the fan doesn’t live up to our claims, our customer service team will send you a replacement free of charge (without you having to replace the entire unit). As the title suggests, I hope to be informative about certain barriers along the way. Steve from GamersNexus explains you the mistakes to avoid while assembling your water cooling AIO in your PC case. Thank you for sharing this. I just bought this case and I think 420mm is too much for a first time builder, so I am hoping to mount the 360mm version of this AIO. about as simple as that. i’ve got an arctic liquid freezer ii 420mm (actually 458mm from end to end) and am having a tough time finding a case to fit it while still allowing the hoses to reach the cpu. i bought a thermaltake view 71 but am having to return it due to this cooler not working in it. the radiator can mount on the side and front, but with barbs down the hoses simply aren’t long enough to reach the cpu. also from what i can see even if i got it on the the top the fans would protrude down into where the motherboard would be and still wouldn’t work.

Plus, our sophisticated cable management hides both the RGB and PWM-cables of your radiator fans in the sleeving.
