About this deal

This melange of memories — happy and sad — of seven young boys coming together to change the face of the music industry is one for the BTS fans, . I had such a great time reading this! It was wonderful to hear the members’ perspectives on the different ups and downs they’ve had as a group. There’s also a big emphasis on explaining their thought process behind different songs and their lyrics, which I really appreciated. The book isn’t all celebratory, it definitely does touch on moments of other people in the industry being disrespectful towards them, targeted hate campaigns, and also moments where BTS made mistakes, but that doesn’t overwhelm the story. They also go in depth with explaining how overwhelming their international success became and why they almost decided to disband at the beginning of 2018. Not that we were doing it for the money necessarily, but I wonder if we should’ve at least been paid enough to buy a meal, and a lot of times we weren’t paid even that.” THE FIRST EVER OFFICIAL BOOK - Published in celebration of BTS 10th Anniversary, stories that go beyond what you already know about BTS, including unreleased photos, QR codes of videos, and all album information.

In May 2022, I was travelling in a car to a bubble tea place in New Delhi with three women – all of us BTS ARMYs of different age groups, with different careers – a writer, a law student, a photographer, and a college professor. And all four of us hummed the lyrics to Ddaeng aloud to the music blaring from the car’s speakers and discussed how we found BTS at very different ages – the youngest one at 16. The rest of us, who found BTS in our twenties, wondered how great it would have been to have found them during our teenage years – to hear from someone you idolise that you are enough, you are beautiful, love yourself and at the same time, to hear their artistic and personal insecurities sung in a medley of rap, hip-hop, and soothing vocals. During this discussion, the youngest fan turned to us and said in a wise voice, “You know, you don’t find BTS, BTS finds you exactly when you need them in your life.” And that is true for most of us. Beyond The Story is finally out and as promised it is an astounding record that delves deeply into Bangtan's active years before and after their debut in 2013. It all starts from the dorm full of trainees and it shows how much these people have grown, both personally and musically, throughout all these years. I try not to think about those times if I can help it. Because ultimately, we’re the ones who won and ended it.” MY FAVOURITE UNBOXING EVER💜. I skimmed through to look at the pictures and I’m already screaming and hyperventilating at the details😭😭. Our boys put their blood sweat and tears into yet another special project for us🥹. And the PHOTOCARDS🪦 I'm literally spoiled. Since Jungkook is also in his delulu era (rip army) I feel very understood😌. Perfect timing to claw at the walls and beg for mercy (and we can't forget CRY🥰 because delulu and emo era🤝)i don’t really think i can review a biography tbh but i really loved this book, i’m so proud of them and i’m so glad they chose to share the story of their journey to us, i love them so much <3 Rekam Jejak Resmi BTS yang Pertama, Masa Muda Mereka, ‘The Most Beautiful Moment in Life’ Ulasan mendalam yang ditulis selama lebih dari 3 tahun, dalam wawancara bersama

From their war with anti-fans emerged the ARMYs, the faithful BTS fandom. The more they were denied their place in the K-Pop industry which is said to work in a formulaic sense, the more determined they became to prove others wrong. What set them apart from other groups was the fact that they weren’t censored by their company and instead of talking about the glamour of the K-Pop industry, they focussed on their own experiences in their songs. They also posted videos of struggles and moments of happiness like Jin’s Mukbang (food eating) show, Eat Jin. The band’s attitude towards hardships can be summarised in two lines Kim Taehyung said in the book, “So, I fell down, no big deal”. The sentiment also appears in their third-English single, Permission to Dance, created in 2021, at the height of the pandemic. “’Cause when we fall, we know how to land”.once in all the lifetimes 💜 review to come hopefully this weekend! but i am so thankful this book will be on my bookshelves forever and that bts gave us this vulnerable insight on them as creators and humans for this last decade. ;___; it is such an honor to follow them + love them.

i absolutely cried my way through this book and devoured everything up. and when i mean crying, i full-on sobbed. 🥹 Published in celebration of BTS’s 10th Anniversary, stories that go beyond what you already know about BTS, including unreleased photos, QR codes of videos, and all album information. If history books are the answer sheet to the present, then our sunbaes (seniors) who did music before us are our answer sheet, right? However, with us, we had to deal with an additional something else.” For Jin and RM, these discussions were important while V/Kim Taehyung found ways to continue the gruelling training through some stolen moments of happiness, for instance, sharing a favourite food with RM despite being on a strict diet or bonding with Jin over their favourite anime. Outside the training, what made BTS stand out was its digital marketing strategy. I really appreciated how the focus was put on music and how the author retraced every step they took in the industry by constantly mentioning albums, songs, concepts and eras, while also including their personal struggles, aspirations and dreams in the process. Moreover, the idea of providing links to basically everything they were discussing was so useful and really made the whole book interactive and much more cohesive. I highly suggest you open these links to fully appreciate Bangtan's career and also how much work was put into this book in general. Dreams actually come true, that's crazy. I still can't believe it, an actual book written by bangtan themselves along with that Weverse Magazine journalist ahhh we're always eating good in this borahouse god bless! A team spearheaded by a group of underground rappers that included a middle schooler who had just started lessons needed more than just cohabitation to cohere into a group⸺they needed some form of alchemy.”

If I didn’t love them enough before, I love them even more now. Their message. Their values. Their purpose. Icons. 💜 BTS shares personal, behind-the-scenes stories of their journey so far through interviews and more than three years of in-depth coverage by Myeongseok Kang, who has written about K-pop and other Korean pop culture in various media. Presented chronologically in seven chapters from before the debut of BTS to the present, their vivid voices and opinions harmonize to tell a sincere, lively, and deep story. In individual interviews that have been conducted without a camera or makeup, they illuminate their musical journey from multiple angles and discuss its significance. When we get lots of awards like that... it got ridiculous. Because we’d said only the things we thought we could never achieve, and then we achieved all of them. I think it’s strange.” In this respect, BTS and Big Hit, without even realising it themselves, were in the process of tearing down boundaries.” The book goes into how the band found what Kang calls “alchemy” because it is a special set of circumstances, people, and hard work that made BTS what it is. Big Hit Entertainment’s director and BTS’s producer Bang Si-hyuk bet everything on a group of trainees to debut as BTS, and everyone else was let go from their contracts. The group discusses what it was like to create music under such immense pressure despite Bang’s faith in the group. As their collective popularity soars across the globe, RM wonders about fandom, album tours, tight schedules, and watches the frustration of the English band Queen as portrayed in the film, Bohemian Rhapsody (2018). The comparison with Queen and The Beatles, made this reviewer aware that nowhere is there any mention of BTS member’s romantic or sexual lives. All these young men seem to do is live for work, their label and their fans, with a few memories of family thrown in. It seems like all other aspects of life were discarded in 2010 when they entered the dorms of Big Hit Entertainment. No one cared... you could be eliminated after any of the tests they would put us through time to time, which was scary.”
