About this deal

The countdown timer emits a signal after a preset period of time has elapsed. The watch has a maximum timing capacity of 100 minutes and can be set in minute-long cycles. My AE1200 does feel cheap (which it is) and rattly...until correctly sized and then is actually not bad at all....I guess it's all relative. If a battery arrives at mid power (or even low), have no fear, they can easily be brought right up to high with a good 1-2 day sun bath. My Linages and WaveCeptors all arrived from Japan reading Mid. They all read Hi after charging and have stayed on Hi. I’m OCD about a watch’s second hand hitting its marks. Quartz watches at all price points miss by a tiny bit. Some miss by a lot. When I saw the Lineage LCW-M510D dial design online, I knew the hour index extension lines would make any second hand misalignment super-obvious. They’d either be awesome or be a curse.

Thank you for your valuable info and detailed review. Recently, I was also interested to buy a titanium Casio Lineage LCW-M170TD-1AER or a LCW-M100TSE-1AER but in the end I got a Casio Oceanus OCW-S100-1AJF. Functions: Analog Hour / Minute , Digital Hours (12 / 24) / Minutes / Seconds, Day (in 5 languages!) / Date, Stopwatch, Countdown Timer, 5 Alarms, World Time (29 time zones / 27 cities). Homage Watch Lists: Audemars Piguet Alternatives | Breitling Alternatives | Grand Seiko Alternatives | Nomos Alternatives | Omega Alternatives | Rolex Alternatives The solid titanium housing is particularly impressive in its design; it is corrosion resistant and its skin-friendly qualities make it suitable for those with allergies.Technical amendments and errors excepted. The sizes in figures do not correspond to the original sizes. I may even begin considering purchasing another Lineage (for a total of two) and a similar set of questions presents itself when comparing the M300 and M600 series of Casio watches (all of which are steel with no titanium options...is that right?). The OP speaks of the 'cheapness' of the bracelets and that's a real pity but these aren't particularly expensive watches and overall they're pretty decent, especially for the features and materials used. I've got a few Oceanus models with a battery over 16 years old and they still take and hold charge fine.

The Lineage LCW-M510D depends on Casio’s Multi Band 6 technology. Every night, the watch synchronizes itself with a radio time signal sent from a transmission station in Japan, North America, UK, Europe or China (depending on your location). If you’re out of range, the quartz watch delivers +/- 15 seconds per month accuracy. They really look great and should appeal to all gentlemen who wants a goodlooking, super-accurate watch with a classic, analog look and feel. The button tones for using the mode button can be turned off. This means that the watch no longer beeps when switching from one function to another. Preset alarm or countdown timers remain active when the button tones are deactivated. About that S100, would you mind measuring the diameter of the crystal for me and/or shoot a side by side pic with the M170T perhaps? I think I've settled on titanium and sapphire (especially since the mineral face on the orange one has a set of scratches on it; it bothers only me but it does bother me!). I presume this is due to the fact that the orange one is a year or so older and its internal button cell is beginning to age. Your view on the 'wearability' advantages of the M100 (due to lug differences and band flexibility etc.) tips it, for me (I think!) in the direction of the M100.

Always reliable: This watch has a particularly secure safety catch, which helps prevent the strap from opening by mistake. Stylish look and lightweight properties set titanium apart. The high-quality material is resistant to corrosion and is gentle on the skin, making it ideal for allergy sufferers. Whether in Europe, North America and Japan or in the outer reaches of Canada, Central America and China - once the watch has been set to the local time, it receives the relevant signal and shows the correct time wherever you are. In many countries, it also sets itself automatically to summer and winter time. The Casio Lineage LCW-M510D is a “set-and-forget” solar watch. Set your local time, switch the Daylight Saving Time function to “auto” and that’s it – unless you leave the watch in the dark for two years or, twenty years hence, change the battery.A battery that reads Mid doesn’t mean the battery is wearing out. It just means the battery needs to be charged until it reads Hi.
