About this deal

What I like about the Genius Square is that it’s really easy to take with you anywhere and it’s such a fun and competitive game. When we were on vacation we would bring it to dinner every night and play while we waited or just bring it around the hotel to play because you can really bring it anywhere! We even played it in the airport while waiting for our flight! What would improve the game?

Genius Square Review | Zatu Games UK

I love logic games and we play several in our house. But most logic games and puzzles are for single players, games to challenge yourself. The Genius Square is very different. It is a logic game for 1-2 players, aged 6 and upwards, with a Genius Level rating of 3 out 5 lightbulbs (suitable for the whole family). And there is ALWAYS a solution to the possible 62,208 puzzle combinations. The plastic grids in The Genius Square are good quality with little grooves to stop the circles and wooden playing pieces slipping around. The custom dice are perfectly okay. The Genius Square is super-fast to set up and play. Games take between 20 and 40 seconds, so you will generally be battling it out on more than one occasion. If you already own The Genius Square and enjoy it, or are looking for other inspiration, you might also like these similar games: If you like a challenge to get those brain cells firing and want a game that can be played solo or together, then I can highly recommend The Genius Square from The Happy Puzzle Company. The Genius Square is a very Happy Puzzle indeed (and there is even an XL version of the game if you like to play your games on a bigger scale).

The Genius Square | Board Game | BoardGameGeek

Simple is often better, it has been said. And The Genius Square, or Genius Square as I’ve always called, is on the face of it a very simple game. But don’t let that fool you into thinking it’s easy or without challenge. I’ve had some games last over 20 minutes and have beaten some in less time than it took me to set up the board. I’ve never had a game beat me yet, although with over 62,000 variations of this puzzle to play maybe the one that will defeat me is lurking in my future. Casual gamer or die hard puzzler, this game has something for anyone looking to try something new. Setup As I said above, I’ve yet to play a game that has bested me. The blurb on the box says that each of the over 62,000 games has a solution. Sometimes more than one. Of all the games I’ve played, which must be over 100 by now, only once did all the players come up with exactly the same solution. And that was the game that took the longest to win, so we all agreed that was likely the only solution.Do you have a genius in the family that loves to play logic games and solve puzzles? Why not put them to the test with a tabletop game that can be played by a single player, racing against an opponent as a two player game or even play with a group of other players over the internet, a game that puts logic and problem solving skills to the test. The Happy Puzzle Company have a range of worldwide award-winning games that allow players to do just this and the first game in the series is The Genius Square. There are definitely learning benefits from Genius Square! It will help you learn to see patterns and teach your brain great spatial awareness skills. What’s great about the game? George (9): I might not win all the time but I do like The Genius Square. It looks a bit like Tetris and I like how it changes each time with the dice rolls. I do like puzzle games and this is one of my favourites. For example, if a child wants to play with cars but can't yet reach them without climbing up on furniture or standing on boxes, then consider purchasing an attachment that allows them to play with cars without having to stand up or climb up things.

Genius Square Board Game How To Play The Genius Square Board Game

So you think you are a clever clogs do you? Well perhaps you should face The Genius Square. Fail, and you will stand in the corner with a cone shaped hat on your dunderhead. Succeed and you get to don your best certificate smile instead! You know, that smile you get when you were awarded a certificate at school and were really pleased but also wanted to look cool and not beam from ear to ear in front of your classmates! Gameplay The next thing to consider when choosing toys for children is what do we want them to learn? Do we want them to learn about animals? About colors? About counting? These are all important topics that you may want your child exposed to from an early age so that they can begin learning about these things before school starts and continue learning throughout the year. Educational toys play a big role in this, as they keep on introducing and nurturing children with educational topics, their surroundings, life skills and many more. On paper, over 62,000 games sounds like a lot. In practice I would say there are actually more than that. Unless you are gifted with a photographic memory, I very much doubt you will remember if you have played a variation of the game before. Let alone remember the solution you came up with. So you could argue this game has unlimited replayability. Certainly each game will present you with a fresh challenge. Genius Square is recommended to be played by 1-2 people and is suitable for children and adults of the ages 6 and older. Genius Square is manufactured by “the Happy Puzzle Company”. Although this isn’t noted on the box, we find it’s usually a very fast game and only takes a few minutes. What is inside the board game?
