One thing that a lot of beginners expect is that all guitar teachers are the same, so they can go to any local guitar store/lesson and think that any teacher available will work for them. Don’t get caught up into the common mistake that a lot of beginners make, where they use their whole arm to strum their guitar with an extreme amount of power.
