My Mac book air is operating on Mojave. The pen was working fine (GT-191; 8192)last week, today nothing. device disconnected. If you can’t tell, I actually love both of these tablets, and think that absolutely any artist, on any level, would be happy with either. Still, I do prefer the XP Pen Artist by a somewhat more than slight margin, and when you throw in the cool and useful new Red Ring controller the scales start to tip even more toward the XP Pen. In the event any user breaks this Agreement, HUION shall have the right to require such user to compensate the loss (including but not limited to fine, indemnification, compensation, penalty, attorney fee, notarization fee and legal cost, etc.) suffered by HUION thereby. To resolve the out-dated driver problem, you should update your tablet driver to the latest version. There’re two ways you can do this:

I think that, despite their low prices, both XP Pen and Huion make surprisingly high-quality drawing tablets for digital art, and both are great choices. But which of the two should you get? Find out in my comparison post below. Pen Tablets Most Wacom and Huion devices connect to another monitor. This means you’re also going to want to consider what device you’re connecting it to. Matching screen sizes with the monitor will allow for ease of use, unlike a graphics tablet where you can draw right onto the screen. Usually a driver CD that comes with your tablet will help you install the driver on your PC, and once the driver is installed, you should be able to use the digital pen normally. However, the driver you get in this way may be out-dated if Huion hasn’t updated the driver in that CD, hence incompatible with either your hardware devices or drawing software. No restriction: A paper has limited use, which can not only be frustrating for mistakes but can be unfriendly for the environment. With digital art, you are saving on paper waste, as well as giving yourself more freedom to make mistakes. Drawing tablets are pressure-sensitive; just like a real pencil or brush, the pressure you apply on the device with the stylus will determine how your strokes look. However, different tablets will offer different levels of sensitivity in their digital pen which can impact how it feels to draw.

I received a continues stream of "could not complete due to overwrite issue". Solved this by deleting what was left of Huion Tablet in my C:\ drive and then re-ran the update. Again, though, the XP Pen to me just feels and works better overall. The slight increase in response rate really does mean effectively smoother and more predictable (less frustrating, to put it in a more glass half-empty kind of way) drawing and painting. And just like with the smaller units, I think the XP-Pen has a better feeling physically between the pen and the active work surface – the Huion is quite nice in this regard too, but the XP Pen has that wonderfully balanced control and flow I expect from much more expensive tablets. We’re going to compare tablets that are, in each case, not just the same size, but also the same relative position in their respective lines and the same price – most of the time, in fact, the exact same price! We’ll look at the specifications, and then for each comparison I will talk about my own experiences and feelings when using each, their strengths and weaknesses and which I think is better for making art. Both Huion and Wacom throw in additional pen nibs with their tablets which should allow you to comfortably draw for years down the line. Wacom: The small size Intuos does come close price-wise but has a smaller pen display, whilst the medium size is over double the price of the Huion 1060 Plus.
