To get to the memory card, the image has to pass through the Nikon EXPEED C2 processor, which is hardware taken from the DSLR range. EXPEED is Nikon's dedicated imaging processor (everyone has one these days) which is designed to process images to the best quality possible. It's a nice little camera to look at and it fits nicely with the Style series that it's allocated to.
