About this deal

Varjak Paw has been widely translated. It has inspired a play, an opera and several unofficial animations. Hello, you came to my school, Park Hill Kenilworth and I bought the Outlaw Varjak Paw. It was great and I couldn't stop reding it so it was finished a one am on Saturday morining! You'r books are the exact books that I love! thank you. Varjak Paw is a Mesopotamian Blue cat from a large family that live comfortably inside the Contessa’s large, grand house. Who is the main character in Varjak Paw?

I really like this book because it's an action and suspense book about street cats and the life they have behind humans. I just want to wish all my readers Happy Midwinter! My new book Tyger is set at Midwinter, around about now, but in a strange alternate world where there is no Christmas, but there is Midwinter... and this year, Midwinter Night falls on the night of December 21st.

Wow, that is amazing! Thank you so much for your kind words, Adam! There will definitely be a third Varjak book one day; in the meantime, I hope you'll try my new book Phoenix. It might look very different on the surface - humans and aliens, instead of cats and dogs - but I think it has many of the same themes & ideas underneath it all... Ocr_converted abbyy-to-hocr 1.1.20 Ocr_module_version 0.0.17 Openlibrary OL3298581M Openlibrary_edition Having saved the city cats from a fate worse than death, Varjak Paw finds himself the elected and popular leader of a new gang - a gang that supports freedom and kindness for all. But will the pressure take its toll on this brave yet sometimes naive cat? Sally Bones, the mysterious white cat who lords over the West Side of the city. She knows "The Way" Varjak Paw is an absolute classic and with books like Phoenix adding to the Said shelf it is clear that there was a lot of weight and expectation on Tyger. Breathe easy, it delivers. In spades. There is no doubt that this book earns one of those rare spots on the shelf marked "Future Classics".

Yep, I will. anyway, I'm so glad that your going to continue writing books because they are so good! thanx Access-restricted-item true Addeddate 2011-10-17 22:02:00 Boxid IA159605 Boxid_2 CH119201 Camera Canon EOS 5D Mark II City Oxford (GB) Edition 1st American ed. I'm looking forward to visiting Oakridge very much indeed. In the meantime, I wrote a bit about the third book here... Thanks for the question! I wish it didn't take so long. But my aim is to make each one of my books as good as it can possibly be, however long it takes. In the case of Phoenix, that took seven years. It's a really big, epic story, set across a whole galaxy, and it's about three times the length of Varjak Paw – so maybe it's not surprising it took so long! And it is as good as I could make it, so it does feel worth all the time and hard work now.

He's never left home, until he receives a mysterious visit from his grandfather who tells him about The Way - a secret martial art for cats. In the meantime, I hope you'll try my new book Phoenix. It's not a Varjak Paw story; not even cats and dogs this time, but humans and aliens instead. Nevertheless, if you like Varjak, I think you'll find lots of things to like in Phoenix, too – it has very similar themes underneath the surface.

Hello, My name is Isabella. My friend and I have just finished your books! I am addicted to them! What happened to Holly’s eye? Do you have any other similar books? If not any recommendations? The reports are then sent to the SPRB, and a reply is received in which Ms Lines asks for an explanation of The Skills that were mentioned in the reports. By now, a line of communication has been established between the children and the SPRB. Ms Lines suggests that Varjak is nominated for Cat of the Year. She asks the children to help her to persuade the judging panel that he should win. Perhaps they could write an article for the SPRB journal that tells the readers how Varjak solved the mystery of the Vanishings? Maybe, Ms Lines could turn up in person to congratulate the children on their fantastic writing! 4. Moving on

Hi there, thank you very much for your kind comment! To answer your questions: I named the character after my own cat, who was called Varjak Paw; and I'm not sure when the third one will be exactly, but it will happen one day! I wrote a bit about it here. In the meantime, I hope you'll try my new book Phoenix, which has just been published. It's not about Varjak Paw, but if you like the Varjak books, I hope you'll like it too...
