The story was typical college romance but it didn't feel like a cliché to me. It's because the story is just written so good! The main characters are also the cutest thing ever! Logan and Grace made me fall in love with their romantic interactions and steamy encounters. The chemistry was undeniable and the relationship development amazed me. There was also no insta-love and no cheating involved, and the spark was already visible the moment they collided. She was a freshman and a virgin, and very sweet. She doesn't really fit in with anyone, and definitely has her quirks which were very humourous. I totally liked her personality. In fact, Logan is The Man... He makes mistakes and works to rectify them. He is loyal to a fault with his family; his heart will make you wish he was part of your family. His love for Grace and willingness to go the extra mile for her... priceless. He will be your stealth book boyfriend.Grace, on the other hand, is adorable girl with a heart of gold. Maybe a bit predictable and socially awkward, but in my opinion it worked pretty well. She’s a freshman and a virgin, who doesn’t have a filter when talking to hot guys, which frankly means she blabs everything; some stories were comical! Looking more into how she does her writing, it is clearly evident that her characters definitely come first during her writing. More specifically, she claims to always get ideas for really awesome characters and then take time to thoroughly brain storm the ideas right until she comes up with the best world to place them in. a perfect example of how she is able to achieve this is in her book midnight rescue in which she claims to have had a heroine in mind in advance of course alongside other main characters in the book. What followed was simply the piecing together of smaller sections of her imagination for the book which was done and ended up with a rather solid plot. The idea of Grace with another guy is unacceptable. I won't go as far as to say she's mine, but...well, she's mine. Mine to hold and mine to kiss and mine to laugh with. Yup, mine."

One of the best parts about this book is that even with some of the more serious things going on in Logan’s life, it still made me laugh out loud on more than one occasion. It was straight up funny! Grace is a freshman at the University and is the daughter of a professor. She is a virgin and it’s a big deal. Yup, I’ve chosen to lie. Which is nothing new for me, actually. It seems like all I’ve done since I came to Briar is lie. When the next year of University begins, Grace and Logan both return and bump into each other. Logan starts getting on Grace’s nerves and starts asking her out. Grace says she will go out with him as long as he completes a few tasks from her list.

Grace Ivers is an introverted freshman with a mild case of OCD that's as endearing as she is quirky. Prone to babbling when she gets nervous, I knew just after a few short lines that I'd love her. Her internal dialogue never failed to bring a goofy smile to my face. she was ranked 1st place in the Golden Rose contemporary for her amazing work in the book titled “Dance of Seduction”.
