I can't, in good conscience, rate this more than one star. But the book was, honestly, a joy. As a guy who loves The X-Files, who has a fascination with esoterica and general weirdness, I found this book thoroughly enjoyable; it is an encyclopedic amalgam of ancient mythology, esoterica, new age babble, pop psychology, and every conspiracy theory known to human and reptile.

The beauty of David’s advice is self-evident where he tells you not to take his words for an axiom and he encourages you to make your own research. How many people do that? How many people just thoughtlessly repeat what their mainstream media tell them about, pretty much, everything? What happened to the critical thinking? What happened to just ‘thinking’? So, in conclusion, there are a few tiny redeeming passages in this work inundated with right wing talking points perpetrated by a once great man who's real bitter about getting cancelled for getting people hurt with his rhetoric. This is fantastic, probably your best yet! Please keep doing the audiobooks, I have your books but it’s excellent listening to you tell the story. Those who read his section on 'Covid' will view events of 2020 and 2021 in a totally new light as he produces the evidence that humanity has been misled on a scale that defies belief. The Trap is the "Rosetta Stone" of illusory reality and opens the door to freedom in its greatest sense.

He lashes out against an international “Cult” which he sees operating behind key nations (especially China) and key tech companies and billionaires (especially Google, Elon Musk, Klas Schwab, and Bill Gates). The Cult’s goals is to subvert humanity’s spiritual power at the behest of the reptoids and alienate humans from Infinite Awareness. There are half truths and contradictions but we wouldn't be humans without them we would be living in 5D already! The underlying morale to the book is to stand up for what you believe in, no matter how hard it is. Live your truth.

These highly improbable ideas may not be everyone's cup of tea (& David often seems to plough a lonely furrow with his unorthodox views), but are a fascinating & entertaining read if approached with an open mind. After debunking every major religion in the very first chapter, he proceeds to label people and societies "Satanist". Isn't that just playing into the heaven/hell mentality that he set aside in, literally, the first chapter? He talks repeatedly about how knowledge isn't good or bad, it's how you use it. He's using it to demonize living and dead members of society. Also important to note there are many things he says in this particular chapter that read like something straight off of an incel board. Very creepy.)What we have been deprived of by "the Cult" has been identity, as nations, cultures, individuals, tribes. It's a mesmerising read that's filled with well-researched information and might be the best personal growth book I've ever read.

This book is not for the feinthearted. None of his are. Most people would either not know what he is talking about or diregard his research and just cast him aside as a conspiracy theorists. Persevere and keep reading this man is intelligent and not a sci fi writer. He is a wake up world writer. The book claims to chart an alternative history of humanity from the dawn of civilization & beyond, citing the alledged (unseen) controlling forces of 'bloodline' families which David believes disempower us as humans today in the form of 'mind prisons'. Anyway, it's all good fun until someone loses their mind. The basic evidence for the central allegation is that the author personally knows a decent number of actual telepaths who have detected the aliens. All that's left is piecing together the clues that the aliens have left for us to find in our public monuments, writings, and history--whether stupidly or ironically is not manifest. Are there conspiracies? Of course, there are. Royal families and despots have conspired to stay in power for millenniums. The wealthy and Wall Street conspire to get rich. Politicians and lobbyists conspire to fill their own greed. Occupy Wall Street's motto "We are the 99%" illustrate that very struggle going on every day.

Guys, look. This kind of stuff is dangerous. There are alot of naive, dare I say, stupid people who can fall for this nonsense and it's foolish that we allow this man to spread this life threatening garbage.
