About this deal

The book is written using US terminology. However, UK readers, do not fret! A handy conversion chart is included for reference. As you may know, I really love granny squares (you can have a look here for all my designs). Some time ago I had the privilege of collaborating on a fun project with the amazing designers Celine Semaan and Sharna Moore. This list of free crochet squares are all straightforward to work up, some with stitch diagrams and are great for beginner crocheters to advanced crocheters, and can be crocheted in little to no time! Rnd 9: slst in next st, slst in ch-2-sp, ch2, (hdc, ch2, 2hdc) in same ch-2-sp, hdc in next 21 sts, *(2hdc, ch2, 2hdc) in ch-2-sp, hdc in next 21 sts**, rep from * to ** twice. [100hdc, 4ch2] You will also need any type of yarn, a crochet hook, and other optional crochet supplies! I’ll explain each of these below if you’d like to take a look before exploring our granny square crochet pattern list. Example of a Classic Crochet Granny Square type Types of Granny Squares

From practical projects like blankets, curtains, cushion covers, pouches, bags, or garments to fun projects like accessories and stuffed toys (Amigurumi)… the possibilities are endless. Crochet projects may seem entirely different, but they all comprise crochet stitches that help work up your pattern. The basic stitches are easy to learn, but as you progress in your skills, you can combine two or more stitches to create beautifully textured items like an afghan. All the techniques you need to complete the squares are included in both written and graphic form. This includes how to finish off your squares and how to work the different types of stitches needed.
