About this deal

For the length it is not worth to mention, because when we adjusted the diopter to our eyes, we hade both – once was the Vortex longer and once the Nightforce. But every time the difference was maximal 2 millimeters. The parallax adjustment on both rifle scopes is on the left side of the rifle scope (when looking from the eyepiece), and again, both are very similar. The parallax turrets are nice and smooth, and it is easy to adjust the parallax to the correct setting. On the Vortex, the parallax goes from 20 meters to infinity, and on the Nightforce from 25 meters to infinity. The warranty on the Nightforce is 30 years long, what is really a lot, compared to 10 years on the Vortex. But, how much we know Vortex, there shouldn’t be a problem if you have some defect in the scope after these 10 years, because of the well-known VIP warranty from Vortex.

In this comparison, we have 2 US – Based companies which introduced big magnification rifle scopes for target shooting and F-class shooting in the last years. Now we finally have both of them at one place, so we can make a comparison how these two differ from each other in various points. These two rifle scopes are the new Vortex Golden Eagle 15-60×52, and Nightforce Competition 15-55×52.The Centimeter (British spelling 'centimetre') is a metric unit of length, distance or height. By contrast, the inch is an imperial measurement, still commonly Storage & organisation Furniture Textiles Kitchenware & tableware Kitchens Lighting Decoration Rugs, mats & flooring Beds & mattresses Baby & children Smart home Bathroom products Laundry & cleaning Plants & plant pots Home electronics Home improvement Outdoor living Food & beverages Christmas Shop Shop by room Both companies are based in the USA, but both rifle scopes are made in Japan. The difference in these two companies is that Vortex produces all their optics in Asian companies, Nightforce on the other hand, makes their products only in Japan, or in their own facility in the USA. After we are sure that the test can be done without preferations we ask our volunteers to test the following parameters:

The eye-box on both magnifications is also better on the Nightforce, especially on the bigger magnification you have to be very centered to have a clear picture on the Vortex. The biggest difference between these two rifle scopes, is in the optical properties. This difference is really big, since 6 of 7 of our testers would rather buy the Nightforce than the Vortex. But we have to consider that the price difference is also very big, and the question is if the better picture in the Nightforce, is worth the additional 1700 euros. An inch is the name of a unit of length in a number of different systems, including Imperial units, and United States customary units. There are 36 inches in a yard and 12 inches in a foot. The inch is usually the universal unit of measurement in the United States, and is widely used in the United Kingdom, and Canada, despite the introduction of metric to the latter two in the 1960s and 1970s, respectively. The inch is still commonly used informally, although somewhat less, in other Commonwealth nations such as Australia; an example being the long standing tradition of measuring the height of newborn children in inches rather than centimetres. The international inch is defined to be equal to 25.4 millimeters. History/origin: The term "inch" was derived from the Latin unit "uncia" which equated to "one-twelfth" of a Roman foot.

Nightforce is already well known in the sport shooting community because of its successful predecessors, but now they have a new competitor, Vortex. Vortex is also a very known optics manufacturer, but with the Golden Eagle, it is their first trie to succeed in the F-class competitions and other target shooting sports. Size and weight: The centimetre is a now a non-standard factor, in that factors of 10 3 are often preferred. However, it is practical unit of length for many everyday measurements. A centimetre is approximately the width of the fingernail of an adult person.

Bo and the team tried several different solutions until they came up with one that provided the same functionality as blinds with visible cords. There have been a number of different standards for the inch in the past, with the current definition being based on the international yard. One of the earliest definitions of the inch was based on barleycorns, where an inch was equal to the length of three grains of dry, round barley placed end-to-end. Another version of the inch is also believed to have been derived from the width of a human thumb, where the length was obtained from averaging the width of three thumbs: a small, a medium, and a large one. You can calculate this by dividing 30 by 2.54, as there are 2.54 cm in an inch. How many inches are in 40 cm?Current use: The inch is mostly used in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. It is also sometimes used in Japan (as well as other countries) in relation to electronic parts, like the size of display screens.
