My God, this is truly the best story I've ever read this year. I am still speechless, as all I want is to gush about anything and everything about this book. At first, I really did not want to finish My Deceitful Duchess because I didn't like a romance fic where the FMC is older than the MMC..... but oh boy I was so wrong. The book is at best the perfect romance fic for those who crave the SUFFERING <3 I legit almost cried just reading what Jenny had to go through that I swear could've made me bawl my eyes out. The plot was just so raw, so maddening, and crazy that I cannot stop reading it. I devoured every single word and every single sentence formed by those words makes up the most emotionally agonizing line ever. So far so glamorous, but what Palace insiders saw as Meghan’s ‘wilful blindness to institutional culture’ was a clash with the actress’s world view.

In the book, Brown shines a fascinating and waspish light on Meghan’s life just as she was meeting Harry and how her then blog, The Tig, was a dragnet for luxury freebies. Overall, this was a fantastic read. I have said it time and again, the author knows exactly how to tug at my heartstrings and write absolutely fabulous romances. To those looking for swoonworthy HR with angst- this is for you. Other people around him have less advantages and he has to come to realize that. She won a reputation among the marketers of luxury brands of being warmly interested in receiving bags of designer swag.’Throwing the Waleses under the bus: “According to royal sources, courtiers have discussed leasing a property on the royal estate to Harry and Meghan to try to resolve the counsellor-of-state conundrum.
