It’s Day 23, but is this the final “build” of the 2021 Harry Potter Advent Calendar? You get a lovely Christmas Tree, with a great mix of dark green and green elements, with the stars providing some nice contrast. CJ: I like the colors on the car, but again there’s something about the tires that just doesn’t “read” right to me. That said, it fits in well with the rest of the City calendar. The small Friends camp fire is adorable, but the minifigure head as table confuses me. Is it supposed to be a pot of cocoa maybe?

The build is quite effective, with a wooden door that swivels open, leading Harry and Griphook in. The functionality works pretty well and while the build is quite simple, it does the job pretty well. Lifting open the flap reveals the mat, which has a game, called “Journey to Hogwarts”. Along the mat is some sort of pathway, and there’s a spin dice to move your minifigures along, with numbered spots that correspond to the Advent Calendar builds. And there we have it, all 24 builds from the 2020 Harry Potter Advent Calendar! Putting all the models together, it’s great to see the Yule Ball and Goblet of Fire scenes as a whole. Day 1 It’s a pretty plain build for the calendar, with the spellbook just having a plain tile on the inside, but I do like the wand, which comes in its own wand case – a new element first introduced in 75978 Diagon Alley.

A pretty basic build, but only 3 days left remaining in the 2020 Harry Potter Advent Calendar! On Day 20, we get the second half of Day 18’s Banquet Table! The design is pretty similar, a semi-circle table, with ornate ice sculptures as a centerpiece, and some drinks on the table.x HARRY POTTER™ RAVENCLAW™ Fragrance Spray 50ml – embrace your inner wisdom and wit like a true Ravenclaw with this fragrance spray While I did enjoy some of the builds, and the random Chocolate Frog Cards, I don’t think it compares to previous Harry Potter Advent Calendars, which had a cohesive scene such as last year’s Yule Ball, or even micro models which were a lot of fun.

A pretty solid addition for Day 5, and now Harry Potter has his crush that he failed to ask out as a Yule Ball partner to join him! By the way, thank you so much for sharing your chocolate frog cards from yesterday! It was so fun to read what everyone else got, and I was really glad to see LEGO truly randomise the chocolate frog cards! We get a Table with a glass bottle on it. I’m not 100% sure if this is referenced anywhere in the movies, and gave up after spending too much time on Youtube rewatching Goblet of Fire clips. On Day 23, the second last day of the Advent Calendar, we finally get a set of presents – all wrapped in the colours of Gryffindor (gold and maroon), Ravenclaw (blue and silver), Slytherin (green and silver) and the mighty Hufflepuffs in yellow and gold.
