Thankfully, the lights actually turn off on their own, and you don’t have that distraction at night when trying to sleep. I love that when the air quality is good, the lights are white, but when the air quality is not great, the lights go red. Obviously, you know the air quality is bad when you hear the purifier ramping up. It is relatively quiet even at full power, compared to some other purifiers I have used. Personally, I don’t think the filter will last longer than 6 months. Even Instant points out that their calculation on filter life is based on running the air purifier in eco-mode for 24 hours per day. So if you’re going to run it at a medium speed 24/7 the air filter might wear out faster, after 3 or 4 months of usage. So, how does the AP300 clean indoor air?
