The northeastern sky on November evenings hosts the bright constellations of Perseus and W-shaped Cassiopeia, with the very bright star Capella positioned below them. Despite its compact size and unassuming appearance, this USB-powered projector is powerful for transforming any room into a celestial-like wonderland. When connected to a USB power source, it projects hundreds of laser stars in a single color, creating a truly immersive and atmospheric experience. Whether you're a gamer looking to enhance your gaming environment, a parent looking to create a magical bedtime routine for your child (ensure they can't look directly into the beam), or simply someone who appreciates the beauty of the cosmos, this star projector will surely delight. It is aimed at children, and the stars aren't at all scientific like you would find on the more 'adult' Sega Homestar Flux. Still, it features a slide projector and three easy-to-handle discs containing 24 color images taken by NASA and the Hubble Telescope. Each disc has a theme; Nebulas, Spacecraft & Astronauts and Planets & the Moon. This Northern Lights projector is compatible with all Android and IOS smartphones. You can customize the visibility of the stars, full moon activation and the 'Aurora Borealis' colors to suit your mood. The LED light and green lasers are adjustable from barely visible to highly vivid. Like many other star projectors, there's a 'shooting star' function, although, in our Sega Homestar Flux review, we explained how we'd like this to be at random intervals, or in a different place each time so it isn't as predictable. It has an automatic switch-off after 15, 30 or 60 minutes function.
Degrees (measuring the sky): The sky is 360 degrees all the way around, which means roughly 180 degrees from horizon to horizon. It's easy to measure distances between objects: Your fist on an outstretched arm covers about 10 degrees of sky, while a finger covers about one degree.
The image can be rotated in its stand and moved 360 degrees using built-in motors. It works best when projected from a distance of two meters. The lens, made by Bresser, has a focusing wheel that allows for easy image adjustment. Like many star projectors, it can automatically shut down after 30, 60 or 120 minutes, which is helpful if it's used by a child who wants to fall asleep under the stars in their bedroom. It also has a 'shooting star' mode, which projects a 'meteor' every 40 seconds. Over the month, Saturn's brightness will diminish a little from magnitude 0.7 to 0.85. Viewed in a telescope during November Saturn will show an apparent disk diameter of 17.4 arc-seconds, and its rings will span nearly 41 arc-seconds. National Geographic Astro Planetarium would make a nice space gift for a budding astronomer. It has great functionality, with a time and date selector and a built-in speaker.★★★★½Only the brightest stars are visible to our unaided eyes on moonlit-flooded nights. In the western sky on Tuesday evening, Nov. 28, the very bright star Vega in the constellation of Lyra the Harp will be descending the western sky. At magnitude 0.0, it's the 5th brightest star in the entire sky (not counting our sun).

It has a time and date selector, a shooting star function and a sleep timer, and it ships with two disks.★★★½ That corresponds to six by two full moon diameters! In a dark sky, M31 can be seen with your unaided eyes as a sizeable faint smudge located 1.4 fist diameters to the lower left (or 14 degrees to the celestial northeast) of Alpheratz, the star that occupies the lower left (northeastern) corner of the Great Square of Pegasus. The three higher (westernmost) stars of Cassiopeia, named Caph, Shedar, and Gamma Cas, also conveniently form an arrow that points toward M31. For a short time after sunset on Tuesday, Nov. 14, just above the southwestern horizon, the very slender crescent of the young moon will shine several finger-widths to the left (or four degrees to the celestial southeast) of Mercury. The goal is to create a globe-like night sky that shines and projects the constellations. Before moving on to the stars, children learn about the northern and southern hemispheres. Then, they make holes with a sharp tool where the major stars should be, which introduces them to the important stars and constellations in the night sky. Planetariums on the other hand are strictly realistic and accurate depictions of the night sky, which are sometimes even time and location-sensitive to show you the night sky as it appears at a given time. The spherical design means you have near 360-degree angling, and it comes with a 1.5 m cable, giving maximum positioning flexibility. This gives it a slight edge over the Encalife Atmosphere Smart Galaxy Smart Projector, which has similar specs but can only be used in four fixed positions. The night sky representation is about as realistic as it gets.★★★★½The downside of the Pococo design is that you only have 30 degrees of movement to shine the lights, though as you'll typically be shining this at the ceiling, this isn't a deal breaker. The U.S Food and Drug Administration (FDA) states that ' The FDA recognizes four major hazard classes (I to IV) of lasers, including three subclasses (IIa, IIIa, and IIIb). The higher the class, the more powerful the laser is and the greater the potential to pose serious injury if used improperly. ' On November evenings, the Andromeda Galaxy is positioned very high in the eastern sky. (Image credit: Chris Vaughan/Starry Night) The planet will be setting in the west before 11 p.m. local time at month's end, but the earlier sunsets of autumn will deliver several hours of excellent evening viewing all month long. On Nov. 4, Saturn's westward retrograde motion through the stars of central Aquarius will slow to a stop as it completes a retrograde loop that began in June. It will spend the rest of November ramping up its eastward trek and slightly decreasing its 24-degree separation from Neptune to its east. Since Mercury will be reducing its distance from Earth during November, the planet will diminish in brightness from magnitude -0.6 to -0.47, wane in illuminated phase, and grow in apparent disk size in a telescope — ending the month just days away from its greatest eastern elongation and showing a 72%-lit, 6.2 arc-seconds-wide football shape.
