Users must link their Galaxy smartphones to their Windows 10 PC through ‘Link to Windows’ on phone and Your Phone App on PC, follow the set-up prompts, including being signed into same Microsoft account. Link to Windows is preloaded on select Galaxy devices. Some Link to Windows features may require Galaxy smartphone to be on and connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the PC. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s zoom capabilities simply blow away anything we’ve ever seen before from a mobile phone camera. Obviously, the 3x and 10x optical zoom are not only solid but offer clear images of distant objects with enough clarity that you can crop in on details without seeing much pixelation. Phone has built-in call recording feature (atleast in India) without the stupid voice announcement. As of 2022-2023, Samsung, iQOO and Vivo phones are the only phones that provide this feature. All other phones come with Google Dialer with the stupid voice announcement. On OnePlus phones, user can install ODialer (from Google Play Store) to enable automatic silent call recording. We started the process on the phone, and then we had to visit a URL on the PC (it was supposed to pop up automatically, but didn’t) where we found a QR code. We pointed the S22 Ultra camera at the code, and the phone then guided us through the rest of the set-up process.

With the connection complete, we were able to control our phone through the desktop using our mouse; we even ran Asphalt 9 for a hot second before the connection crashed.
Design
Heating: 8/10 (the phone runs warm most of the time; this could be because of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor) The S Pen is also a solid productivity tool. We scrawled some notes in Samsung Notes and then let the system convert the scribbles to real text. It didn’t miss a word. Before this, I was using One Plus 7 Pro and the S22 Ultra makes it feel like a Xiaomi phone. I was not ready to be blown away considering that OP7P is a pretty good phone to begin with. But it improves on every aspect of a 2-3 year old flagship and this is Android at it's peak (until Samsung comes out with another banger next year)

Like the Galaxy S21 Ultra, the S22 Ultra features a beefy 5,000mAh battery and wireless charging. In our tests, the battery was good for a full day of varied activity (roughly from 7am to 11pm) but not much more (this was the same for mid-range and high-resolution screen settings). It’s all the things a Samsung S Pen should be, giving up nothing for its new Galaxy S22 Ultra home. More on the stylus later.The display puts other mobile based OLED screens to shame. It is difficult to describe in words and you will have to see it for yourself, but the colors, sharpness of the text, adaptive refresh rate, QHD+ resolution is a sight to behold if you don't care about the battery life (which I don't) and I chose to not make any compromises with my experience of using this phone. For Super Fast Charging function, we recommend using the original Samsung Power Adapter and data cable, sold separately. For best results, use 45W Power Adapter with Galaxy S22 Ultra and S22+ and 25W Power Adapter for Galaxy S22. Performance-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra’s 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor acquits itself nicely (no, it doesn’t beat Apple’s A15 Bionic). The point is, we couldn't find a single app that was sluggish or disappointing on the mobile monolith.

Part of Samsung’s new S22 lineup, but looking nothing like its siblings, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is to the casual observer a Galaxy Note in a shiny, new coat. It does have a much bigger and bolder camera array (lifted pretty much intact from the S21 Ultra), but it’s otherwise a canny adjustment of the Note aesthetic or, as Samsung might call it, the “Note Experience.” Still, this adjustment leaves it as easily the best Samsung phone. Charging speed is bad. I bought the Samsung 45W Travel adapter and it takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge the device. This is pretty slow compared to what we see with OnePlus/ Xiaomi/ Oppo/ Vivo phones.

An inarguably beautiful device, the 6.8-inch Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra – owing to its Note roots – doesn’t look much like the Galaxy S22 Plus. It starts from the original Galaxy Note 10 design but takes it forward with even more premium materials.
