About this deal

Dave has been making music with computers since 1988 and his engineering, programming and keyboard-playing has featured on recordings by artists including George Michael, Kylie and Gary Barlow.

Please give us the reason for your assessment in the following text box and – if possible – your e-mail address for further questions. We turn our attention to Prince’s When Doves Cry and notice the initial “yeah” vocal-loop as it trails from your left ear, behind your skull, and off via your right temple just before the funk riff kicks in.AAC is the licence-free standard for YouTube and Apple devices, but it doesn’t perform particularly well on Android devices and isn’t supported by Windows at all. As a bonus, the swivel mechanism also makes it easy to slip one can off for DJ headphone duties if that’s your thing. Join in on the conversation with other readers in the article on Musical Review: A Little Night Music Review now. I have heard the Atticus with camp wood and that had more impact and solidity in the bass, it wasn't quite Verum 1 or LCD-4 type solidity but much better than the Cherry I had. The headphone has some pretty impressive features and while it misses out on a number of things, it does well in some regard.

The headphone delivers a really nice audio quality when listening to vocals, or even when connected with instruments. If you’re going to go the wireless route with your cans, it makes sense to invest in headphones that support a high bitrate codec like AAC, Sony’s LDAC, or Qualcomm’s aptX. This still sounded a little harsh to our ears at times, with what seemed to be a pronounced bump around the 1-2kHz region, making these quite fatiguing to listen to for long periods at a moderate volume.I prefer it over the more resolving ZMF Atticus when it comes to FR, bass quality(Atticus sucks here and is fairly dirty) the mid range timbre is better on the 371, Atticus has a rather bumpy mid to treble. Again, this feature is awesome depending on how you are looking at it as it surely makes it an easy enough device to carry about without the thought of having extra baggage to contend with. This leaves SBC - the ‘lowest-common denominator’ codec used as the baseline standard for all Bluetooth devices - as the only option for Windows users. By comparison, the AKG K361 does come cheaper especially if you're considering its counterpart, K371, and an, even more, closer counterpart, K361 BT. The AKG K361 doesn't have any buttons or controls on it and it is probably something they thought of to reduce pressure on the headphone or just for an adorable design.
