My brother bought me a tiny pot of skin salvation, and it has reduced the reddening as well as made it less painful and flaky. Some of the patches have gone now, but the worst ones have needed yet another dose of steroid cream to get them under control, as they had got too bad, but I think they should soon be clearing up with just this product. I applied the Skin Salvation and the moisturizing lotion before bed and found relief the following day.

You can also use the ointment in an overnight wet or dry wrap treatment: apply last thing at night under a layer of soft fabric (gloves, socks or wraps) to boost the moisturising effect.
