And I appreciate that because Anna doesn’t sugarcoat who she is or how she acts, and even though I’m starting to hate her, I appreciate seeing how she thinks about herself.

But fans were still a bit confused over Josephine Langsford's role in the movie, as she barely appears in the trailer, and much of the focus is on Harden and Natalie's past.There were a lot of moves, and it was no picnic for Anna to push through her husband’s three deployments to Iraq. Tessa and Hardin were certain they could make things work, but that was before a revelation shook Tessa’s world. Tessa is immediately welcomed by secretary Kimberly (who is revealed to be Vance’s romantic interest), and Christian Vance, the founder of Vance Publishing.

Reading about Hardin’s past also helped me better understand how he came to be who he was when he met Tessa and why he kept beating himself up. But then she found herself alone with Hardin in his room and he sparked something explosive in her spirit.The boy hated the taste the cigarettes left, but loved the way the smoke filled his lungs, stealing his breath. The night before his mother’s wedding, Hardin accidentally encounters Vance having sex with his mom. But they survived, even though Anna Todd will be the first person to admit that the journey to her current situation has been an insane and chaotic one.
