It's produced in conjunction with Tomas Estes, an official Tequila Ambassador for the Mexican Government. I have previously raved about the Cazcabel Honey, but now I am even more excited as there are so many (easy) ways to make delicious cocktails using this sweet pure honey piece of heaven. This bottle is the passion project of a couple of young Brits who fell in love with tequila and quit their day jobs for the cause. One thing’s for sure - it’s been around since the 1930s and always made with the same three base ingredients.

If you’re not sure about sipping tequila neat, a cocktail is a brilliant way to appreciate the flavours without feeling like you’re in Club 18 - 30.

With the fresh, earthy and dry Blanco at its heart, Cazcabel Honey adds a dose of sweet nectar to the blend. Made in the highlands of central Mexico, it’s made with blue agave and processed using 500-year-old traditional distillery methods for a smooth taste that works neat or mixed into cocktails. This is a blanco, so its gone through the fewest steps to produce and is aged for only two months - but it’s still miles better for cocktails than anything with a worm in it.Cazcabel tequilas are created at an independent micro distillery in the dusty town of Arandas, located in the upper parts of the Jalisco mountains in Mexico. The wonderful natural honey sweetness blends perfectly with the earthy mineral notes of this premium tequila and allows for the making of some very fine cocktails. Truly an artisan offering, the distillery itself is based in the highlands, putting the operation close to where the agave is grown.
